Parador de El Saler

Mediocre hotel. High price for the service they offer.

After having stayed there a few years ago, we were looking forward to something special, also in light of the renovations and modernizations in the building. The first thing we noticed was that the entrance to the Parador is now guarded. Not a bad thing either. The next thing we noticed was that the front now looks friendlier without the "wooden shack"! The reception is friendly and correct. The rooms are nicer, brighter and friendlier. The food in the restaurant was pleasant throughout, in contrast to the staff! A grumpy and unfriendly, older head waiter, an overwhelmed older waiter who was running around and a female waitress who didn't take a step too far when she had to! An absolute no-go for a Parador that sets such high standards for itself! For the rest of our stay, we preferred the bar for dinner. The choice of food was a little smaller, but at least the service here worked for the entire time. Even if there are some good and bad things about the staff here! This Parador stands and falls with the cooperation of the neighboring golf club! Especially since, as a paying guest and Amigo de Paradores, you feel quite disturbed by the behavior of the regional "money nobility and their entourage" present and the arrogant behavior of this "regular clientele". But that's just how it is when guests without any polish in their behavior think they are better than others in life!

We chose this hotel to spend 2 days in Valencia. Quiet on a golf course, in a national park, very quiet, perfect. Very nice room, comfortable bedding. Excellent breakfast. The staff is exceptional!!! Super helpful extremely kind.

An unforgettable bridge and a pleasure, we will return shortly to enjoy the beach and play golf again.

Everything has been excellent: the room (no detail was lacking), the food, the environment (beautiful walks), the quality of sleep, the cafeteria, the breakfast (excellent churros) and the restaurant (very delicious senyoret rice). The staff is lovely: reception, breakfast, cafeteria and, especially, restaurant, where we highlight Clarisa. Furthermore, it is a Parador that does truthfully convey its commi**ent to sustainability, both in words and in observable deeds. Congratulations.

Satisfied with our stay and the staff (very helpful). The location is also very pleasant. The pool was very tempting but the wind was really chilly.

Free parking, beautiful golf course, private access to the beach, friendly staff, large rooms, sea view not recommended as it overlooks the football pitch, extensive breakfast, restaurant with good value for money
