Palacio Santa Clara, Autograph Collection

I had a wonderful stay here a few weeks ago. The hotel is designed beautifully, down to every minor detail. The location is unbeatable and close to sightseeing and shopping. I had a corner room and found it very comfortable - roomy and not cramped at all. Luxurious linens and pillows, great mattress. No street noise at night. All the staff were wonderful too - especially Jorge at the reception, who was so polite and helpful. I did not have dinner at the hotel restaurant but enjoyed their delicious breakfast which is served in the restaurant area adjacent to the lobby. I will absolutely stay here next time I'm in town and would recommend anyone visiting Valencia to do the same!

First the positive. This hotel is very well located and easy to get to. it is in the old section of Valencia a close walking distance to the main square, the fabulous market and the Cathedral and other sights. It is not a far drive or taxi ride to the incredible arts district where you can visit the Fine Arts museum, Science museum,, space center, performing arts center and aquarium, all in a newly developed park. It is also only 15-20 minutes drive to the beach and the wonderful paella restaurants found there. So it is extremely well located. Parking is easy as there is a public parking garage close by which you have to pay for, but they also offer free concierge service, so when you check in you leave your keys with them and they bring the car when you need it. The lobby is functional, but nice and they have a good buffet breakfast, with eggs cooked to order, in the lobby each morning. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel has a lovely roof-top pool area. The staff was professional and nice. It gets only 3 stars because the rooms are rather small. When we first arrived we were taken to a very small room with no room for our luggage. We requested something bigger and, ultimately, were provided with a room which was a bit larger, but still was not by any means luxurious and which had a window looking out on a air shaft. The room was quiet, but felt like we were staying in a cave. Finally, on the night of the day we arrived we decided to eat dinner at the hotel and the food was just awful. For the next two days dinner was fantastic paella at at a restaurant on the beach which is famous for its paella. If we went back to Valencia we most likely would again stay at this hotel, but this time would arrange a nicer room in advance and avoid their restaurant for dinner.

Very nice hotel in a good location in the centre of Valencia. Nice big interestingly decorated rooms, nice helpful staff, gorgeous ground floor bar, nice rooftop terrace. Not cheap but worth it. Didn't try the restaurant. Room opened onto street but was high up and no problem with noise.

Great location but terrible service. Does not deserve the Marriott brand. They have an arrogance and disregard for their patrons. They were unable to help us move our belonging to another room stating it was against policy. When I asked to see the policy, as recommended by parent company Marriott they were unwilling and unhelpful and dismissive. Valencia is a beautiful city with many beautiful hotels - PSC is not one of them.

Top notch place, super staff and all in a great location. Top notch restaurants right next door. Main shopping area right there and easy walk to all the top spots. Part of the Autograph Section of Marriott hotels. A nice boutique hotel which we just love.

We upgraded to top corner room which was absolutely lovely Beautiful quirky decor nice space and updated Loved sitting by the window having our coffee watching world go by When windows closed very quiet Excellent location ,staff and service The lobby lounge area had great vibe and service a nice breakfast in the morning and great drinks with tapas selection at night Would stay here again
