It was our 20th anniversary and the manager of the hotel upgraded us to one of their suites at no extra charge. The room was wonderful and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. We had a tasty breakfast included every morning and it is served in a quaint little restaurant on the main floor. The serving staff are always smiling, friendly and show true interest in you. The manager, Moul (pronounced Mall), takes time to speak with all the guests, aids his servers and really cares about his guests. A real lead by example guy. I had a complication during our stay (my white shirt was sprayed with red wine at another restaurant) and Moul with his amazing staff jumped in to take care of the arrangements. The shirt needed express cleaning because we were leaving early the next morning. The staff were always on hand to make sure our stay was excellent, above and beyond. The outside rooms do get noisy from street noise and the gym is incredibly small but the hotel is a gorgeous example of 1700's construction. The location is right in a very busy area of Valletta so be prepared for a lot of people. The bonus is that you are only a few blocks from the Grand Master's Palace. A shout out to Fabian and Saurav, great work guys!
