The layout of the Deluxe suits is very satisfactory. The entrance is a tea room on the upper level, which is connected to the large terrace, and there is a bed and a separate sofa suite downstairs. Then maybe the manager himself felt that he couldn't sleep. He gave a very small underground room without windows for one night, and then promised to deal with it the next day. Generally good but family was ill from breakfast - very bad quality of food. Avoid the meat it made us all very ill - cheap ingredients.

Staff were very helpful, location was fantastic, breakfast was excellent ( no need for lunch)
Room modern and well cleaned , found the pillows too thick. That was the only negative point.

This hotel was not what we expected based on the reviews and online photos. It’s much more worn than we thought it would be and didn’t come up to the level we generally experience at four star hotels. While our room wasn’t great, it was big and the staff were excellent. What we did like were the breakfasts which had good food and lots of it with a wide range of options (breakfast is menu based, not a buffet). The food was served very hot and it arrived quickly. It was so good that we also had dinner there and it was one of the best meals we had in Valletta. Guests staying at this hotel need to know that it is on a pedestrian only street so you have to drag your luggage up a hill to get to it. The hill is steep but thankfully it isn’t a long ways up but those with mobility challenges or those who have arm/hand problems that make hauling luggage difficult may find this location to be problematic. What is good about the location is that it is very close to lots of the main sites in Valletta. Given its location there was a lot of street noise heard in our room as we were on the street side. The city does get quiet around 11pm (later on Saturdays) and as it is close to St John’s Co-Cathedral there are church bells every 15 minutes all night. So our review is 3-stars as there were some really good things and some not so good things about this hotel.

I booked 3 rooms and one of the room had a big issue the window could not be open and the staff knew it but the hotel sold it anyway to us with this big issue. Seems not really legal to sell a room with no window. And the manager was super rude with us. We did not appreciate the way that she talked to us

Staff were professional and very friendly. Quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Nice views from balcony. Breakfast menu is amazing. We stayed here for 5 nights and would stay here again next time we are in Valletta!
