A wonderful experience at the Palazzo Consiglia the staff were truly amazing. Extremely clean hotel, comfy bed and delicious GF breakfast. We can’t wait to return to this hotel.

This is a fabulous quality hotel but what makes it special is the staff. Rarely do you see such polite, attentive staff who will go the extra mile to make your stay special. Especially so as many are young trainees from other countries. It was a real pleasure meeting such committed young people, who do such an excellent job. Rooms are lovely; breakfast excellent choices and the spa is a great relaxation after the tiring walking! If you want a special stay in Valletta you will not be disappointed. Congratulations to all!

This was our third stay at Palazzo Consiglia. Previously, we had enjoyed long weekends but this time we stayed for 15 nights and the quality we had experienced on our short stays was repeated throughout this longer stay. The staff are warm, friendly and always eager to help. Tony, Lijlijana and Jona are excellent but it seems almost unfair to pick them out because the staff generally, from cleaner to chef, are uniformly excellent. The breakfast offering, particularly the a la carte choice, is extensive and freshly prepared. The rooms and the overall ambiance is that of a small stately palazzo and because of the relatively small number of bedrooms, the experience feels very exclusive and personal. And if that were not enough the wonderful roof top pool and solarium makes Palazzo Consiglia almost unique amongst boutique hotels in Valletta. In short, we would thoroughly recommend Palazzo Consiglia whether for a short or extended stay in Europe's smallest capital city.

What a lovely hotel.......situated in a very convenient location in the heart of Valetta literally around the corner from the centre of everything yet set in a quiet residential street. This lovely accommodation has everything needed for a truly special stay. The rooms are all different but lovely and very special. The ambiance of the whole property adds to the charm felt as soon as you enter into this delightful renovated palazzo. Everything is of a high quality from the decor, room facilities, linen, toiletries etc. The delightful breakfast sets guests up for the day. Ljiliana, Tony and Carlos are truly special people who make you feel as though you are their extended family and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you make your stay truly memorable recommending trips, restaurants etc. All the staff from house keeping, breakfast room staff and the maintenance man are friendly and smiley making sure everything is perfect for your stay. My husband and I have had a really lovely stay and would recommend this delightful boutique hotel to anyone who wishes to visit this area. Thank you once again 'Team Palazzo Consiglia' we've enjoyed every minute and hope to return one day. A special extra thank you to Carlos for his help in helping me download 'Bolt' so that we had access to transport if needed and also for our chats about football ...... he's a delightful young man who is learning from the best mentors who are Tony and Ljiliana.

I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. To begin with, the staff was in contact with me by email well ahead of my stay, ensuring that we would have everything we needed, inclusive of transportation to and from the airport - prior to arrival. And when I ran into travel difficulties and missed my connecting arrival flight, they were so prompt in responding to my emails to arrange for my partner (who was arriving separately) to still get picked up, and for me to have another car waiting when I finally arrived (MUCH later than planned). One thing I will say is that the driver assigned to collect me was very unpleasant. My rebooked flight was delayed, and my luggage was lost, so I ended up having to file a report at the Air Malta desk. All of that had him waiting a long time - however, it was out of my control. I am sympathetic to the fact that he could have been taking care of his other fares. But, that was no excuse to be surly with me, march way ahead of me to the taxi, speed through the streets, and then unceremoniously deposit me at the side street curb - not even at the front entrance. And all this, as a woman alone, after midnight. I was already mentally shattered from my overly long and stressful travel experience, and he just destroyed my last bit of positivity with that terrible welcome to Malta. In direct contrast to this, however, my greeting at Palazzo Consiglia set everything right. The gentleman on duty the night of March 14th (so sorry I didn't catch his name) was so warm and welcoming. He offered me a glass of wine and sped through the chec-in introduction since he knew I'd had a very long and challenging day, plus my boyfriend had already received all the info. His kindness in that moment was so very appreciated, and it put me back on the right path for a lovely vacation. Throughout the remainder of my stay, every single staff member I encountered was lovely. When they found out I had a gluten allergy, they made sure I had delicious options at breakfast, inclusive of a snack pack for the very early morning departure on our last day. And, they were just so attentive to us both in every way. So, all in all: beautifully appointed historic locale✅️, walking distance to our Michelin star restaurants and other sites ✅️, wonderful attentive staff✅️. What more could I have asked for? Thank you for a memorable experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this unique, quaint hotel . The desk staff were most accommodating, providing restaurant suggestions, tourist visiting info, even a boxed breakfast when our departing flight was early! The Hotel is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants, the Harbour , Hop on Hop off Bus, Tourist sites. Thank you for a lovely 6 nights!
