Sonder the Sunset

I only stayed there a quick overnight, but the room was a good size, and the instructions were great so I had no issues getting in & out. I LOVED the bed, so comfortable.

We chose this property because of its close proximity to St Paul’s hospital as we had to be there for a morning appointment. It’s perfect. It’s just a quick walk. We are very pleased with the unit. It’s clean, well stocked and was easy to check in and access.

Regrettably, my family and I had a disappointing experience during our stay at Sonder the Sunset in Vancouver from March 25-28. We encountered some unexpected challenges, including issues with cleanliness in Room 601. While the staff initially offered a partial refund for the inconvenience, we have yet to receive the second night’s refund. 19 days later with repeated promises of a refund for the second night and still nothing. Despite attempts to address our concerns through *******, communication with Sonder has been difficult and disjointed. Moreover, the check-in process, which involves collecting and retaining biometric data, was uncomfortable. We hope that Sonder addresses these issues promptly to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

Staff was accommodating, the room was really clean and the location was nearby restaurants, the grocery and the hospital.

Very comfortable self catering apartment in an excellent location in Downtown Vancouver.. Extremely helpful reception staff. Luggage lockers and guest laundry were much appreciated; also the use of umbrellas. We would happily stay there again.
