Location was amazing.. easy to walk to the main bars and restaurants. A little noisy from the room we were at. But the rooms are really nice

The Victorian is a great place to stay. Well appointed, clean rooms. Comfortable and clean beds and linens. Nice staff. Great location! Being an older building there’s not much for soundproofing so you hear people walking on the stairs and up and down the hall but it doesn’t deter me enough from staying there. There is no elevator so if you have a hard time with stairs this hotel is not for you unfortunately. The in-room amenities are great except: the one and only thing this time that disappointed me was the ‘coffee’ maker. It’s actually a model of Nespresso machine that does not make a regular cup of coffee. It only makes two sizes of espresso which, for myself, my morning cup of coffee cozy in a hotel bed is what I look forward to and the espresso just didn’t cut it for me. Picture posted is the bigger of the two size options with two creams. I will stay again however I’ll make sure to bring Aeropress and a kettle next time. Other than that, it was great as always and will be my first choice when I return.

The room was exactly as pictured. They have mixed the beauty of an older structure with every modern convenience. The bedding was so comfortable, the shower was amazing, even their beauty products were top notch. i will gladly return to this hotel during my visits to Vancouver.

Only rooms in the most expensive category have tables? No bueno for business travelers. Bath tubes are nice.

Our stay at The Victorian was wonderful. The staff member who checked us went above and beyond making a last minute change for one of the rooms. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. Clean and charming hotel with a welcoming staff and in walking distance to so many restaurants , cafes and shops. What a gem in Gastown.
