Because my English level is average, I didn't call the front desk to communicate about this matter. I talked to the front desk about this situation when I had breakfast in the morning. Laos is also a country along the Belt and Road. The front desk lacks Chinese service, which is not friendly and inconvenient for Chinese people. Unless you are very good at English. The second problem is that since we were rushing to the train station in the morning, a friend had a little breakfast and was in a hurry to get on the road, so he took a piece of bread and an orange from the restaurant. This is a gem of a resort! We still talk about our stay here. Probably, one of the best pools I've been in. The views are incredible, the breakfast is sumptuous, the rooms are exceptional, and the spa is fantastic!
The ONLY drawback I can think of is the (approx 15 min) walk back from the center of town (we felt very safe!)
Getting to town center is not an issue as they have a shuttle service (5-7 drive)
But if that is not an issue for you, then just go and stay here and you will not regret it

This is the Best hotel in Vang Vieng. Sober and elegant architecture. Hotel located on the banks of the Nam Song with superb views of the mountains and the sunset. Excellent place to rest.
Spacious and functional room. Comfortable bed. Sockets and switches in the right place. High-speed Internet. Very well equipped bathroom with a large bathtub. Excellent water pressure.
Very clean common and private areas.
Fitness room with the necessary equipment with towels and fresh water available.
Very large swimming pool, perfect for doing laps. Only small downside: the water is a little opaque.
Discreet and attentive staff.

After 3 nights at Amari, I moved to **ark. First of all, the staff is always smiling and friendly. The natural scenery is outstanding and the swimming pool is large and nice! The resort rooms are built with a swimming pool and garden at the center, and you can truly enjoy a vacation-like vacation with a cozy feel. You can walk to the city center, and you can take a shuttle from the lobby at any time you want.
