Since the place is on the river banks, vehicles cannot come near to the hotel. The hotel however takes care of this by sending its men to pick up the luggage. Ensure to call them well in advance so that they can have their folks ready to receive you from the nearest drop point. It takes just a couple of minutes to walk to the river. We had our early morning baths in the river and could easily walk up to our rooms to change. Kashi vishwanath temple, dashashwamedh ghat is very close and walkable from the hotel. The suite has a very good view. Two budget rooms also has a good view. Make sure to ask for the rooms that have a river view.

you can literally c Ganga Aarti and the river from this hotel and the room was occasion but the service and ***agement was amazing specially the person at the reception

Location of the hotel is very good near the ghats and the behavior of hotel staff was very nice. All in all good hotel.

The staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms are clean though bit cramped but sufficient for one person. It is safe for single female travellers. The location of the hotel is as described and it is right on the ganga ghar giving a beautiful view of the ganga. To reach the hotel through lanes of banaras is difficult but hotel staff will guide you through and accompany you safely to the hotel. The food is average and can be improved. Overall had a pleasant and memorable stay.

Stay at palace on steps has been really good. Whole staff has been so so helpful. I was a solo traveller at this trip but not moment i felt uncomfortable. Good food, neat n clean room and serene and peaceful ganga view. It was a perfect stay.

Horrible experience, very dirty, unhealthy place. All pictures and facilities was wrong. Poor customer service and communications, rude ***ager. Inconvenience, pain for international travelers.

I had a booking for 2 days but i left it on 2 nd day as it was very impossible to stay. It is not at all for standard people. They are fooling people by showing that hotel is on river side. It has not access by road. We need to walk through number of tiny dirty gallis full of dogs and dirt. Rooms are too small and having strange smell throughout the premises. Staff is also not co operative. I suggest mmt to visit and confirm the status of any hotel before uploading on their side. Stop making fool of divotees of lord shiva.
