The in-house restaurant serves good food, and the breakfast was enjoyable. Having personal parking in Varanasi is a huge advantage, and the option to arrive by boat through the Ganga makes the experience even more unique. Cars couldn't drive there, and you had to walk a bit. Although there were staff members to help with the luggage, it was still very inconvenient. "Since there were few reviews, I'll leave a detailed review as much as possible. [Location] For those coming specifically to see the Ganges River, I think this is a fantastic location. To get to the hotel, you drive to Namo Ghat, then transfer to the hotel's boat to reach the hotel. For me, being able to board the boat without negotiating was a great experience. *While you can probably get to Namo Ghat by Uber, I was hesitant, so I booked the hotel's round-trip transfer service. (It was 1800 INR one way by small taxi.) Because it's ***** the Ganges River, Uber, including rickshaws, isn't available, and walking is the only mode of transportation. I went during the hot season, so walking through the crowded, narrow, winding streets was very difficult, and I couldn't explore beyond the riverside. I didn't ask the hotel staff, so there might have been other transportation options besides walking. [Ganga Aarti] For my main travel objective, Ganga Aarti, the hotel staff will reserve seats for you if you ask. (※Free of charge) We traveled to the venue by the hotel's boat. It wasn't crowded, and since hotel staff took us there, we were able to enjoy the exhibition without being bothered by annoying touts. 【Food】 The hotel rules stated that eating outside food in the rooms was prohibited. For peace of mind, although I wanted to eat what I brought, I gave up and ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, but included Indian food as well as Western dishes like bread, and they made omelets fresh to order. Furthermore, the hotel, including the restaurant, does not sell alcohol. We drank alcohol that we brought with us. Bringing in your own drinks seems to be OK. 【Facilities】 Good points: - No insects in the room - Amenities such as shampoo and toothbrushes were provided - Water and juice were provided free of charge Disappointing points: - The air conditioner had a slight musty smell - The water smelled bad (I think this is more of a local issue than a hotel issue) 【Hospitality】 The hotel staff were very kind, attentive, and helpful. I think having WhatsApp would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a very good hotel, and I would like to stay there again if I visit Varanasi. It's a wonderful hotel."

There are many small shops and food stalls on the road from the hotel to the station. The hotel is located far from the Ganges River, so you need to take a rickshaw. There is a train station nearby, Varanasi Yad, but it is a bit of a walk from there (the roads are dirty and the traffic is chaotic)."

"We booked Hotel Surya on December 18th till December 21st. However, due to bad weather, our flight got delayed and we landed on December 19th. But kudos goes to hotel's manager Mr. Shailendra Singh who contacted us and helped us all the way through, even extended our stay till 22nd December without any hassle. Coming to the hotel review - we booked a premium room with double occupancy and the hotel provided exactly the same room which was shown in pictures. The amenities, food, overall experience is awesome. Again shout out to Mr Shailendra who helped us all the time during our stay, making it even more worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel, for family, friends and anybody who want to have a great hospitality experience. It's a little bit away from the Ghats, but whoever wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the Ghats, it's a perfect place. It's very near to Varanasi Junction. Overall, this hotel will be in my topmost position if I ever plan to visit Varanasi again."

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always helped with genuine warmth and a smile. My birthday fell during our stay, and the team made it one of the most memorable birthdays I've ever had. Shiva, Kanhaiya, Dilip spent time decorating our room so beautifully, and it was obvious they had put so much thought, care, and heart into surprising me and making my day special. It was a gesture I'll never forget. Thank you to the entire team for your incredible hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Varanasi."
