2-Star Hotels in Varanasi

Simply Wow! My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby. Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people. I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was great! The staff were also very kind and helpful! I'd definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Varanasi.

10 minutes walk to Stupa, the price was reasonable, the facilities were acceptable & clean, the atmosphere was homely and the staff were very kind. I will come back to stay again.

I had avery nice stay at Local Lok! The hostel is very clean and the service is good. My only complaint is that it is far from the Ganges River, whrte all of the tourist stuff is. It takes about 30 minutes by Rickshaw to get to the Ganges from Local Lok. But other than that it is a very nice place to stay

Excellent service and support. Great location, near the main ghat. This is a guest house, not a hotel. So you have to be prepared to stay with minimal amenities. But it is enough for a spiritual tour. The owner is was very helpful and took care of me well. He is always reachable when you need help. This whole place are full of stairs and you have to be prepared to walk up and down the stairs. It is also away from the main road just like all other guesthouses near the ghat.

1. The room I got was a standard room on the ground floor without windows which, in fact, the hotel should inform about on the room's description. 2. After entering the room, the tables and most of the furniture were a bit dusty, and the air condition had problems which required three staff solving it. 3. The duvet did not have a cover, so it looked a bit worn out. 4. After using the bath, water dripping from the geyser lasted for a while. 5. After complaining about the room, the manager, Suryakant Pandey, and his staff, Gauraf, showed their responsibility and promised to upgradte my room on the next day. 6.However, the day shift didn't know about it and insisted me to stay at the same room until I claimed about the prior upgrade from the night shift manager. 7. Luckily, the changed. 8. On the following day, the maid forgot to clean my room but the hotel owner was there and ready to get everything done. 9.The best thing of the hotel was the service that the night shift manager and his team helped me and understand what the customers wanted. 10.All in all, apart from the cleanness and readiness of the room, the hotel was just OK.

Very friendly boss who always would be in the front desk to help anything. Best location to Ganga river / Assi Ghat.

The owner of this inn is a person who is fluent in Japanese and can take very detailed consideration. １ It was a stay for only one night, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. There is no heating in the room, but it's not too cold to be troubled. There are restaurants and currency exchangers in the neighborhood that serve delicious meals, so I thought it was a convenient place. If you ever visit this place again, you will definitely choose this inn. Thank you P.S. TEJ for sending me by motorcycle in a tremendous traffic jam. It was very exciting and fun!
