I loved this hotel ! The service was great , the pools were amazing and the view was beautiful ! The piano bar was just ... I can't describe it with words the music , the cocktails were delicious ! I also loved the spa! It was amazing! Amazing hotel, a must visit !

Большой и очень чистый номер с террасой и отличным видом. Приветливый персонал. СПА и сауны. Расположение отеля. Хорошая и разнообразная кухня. Не понравилось · В джакузи не удобно заходить, крутые ступеньки. По кромке горячей воды на стенах джакузи полоса грязи, которая за время нашего пребывания ни разу не убиралась. В большом внутреннем бассейне лестницы для спуска в бассейн очень не удобные, спускаться и выходить очень не удобно, особенно пожилым людям. Перила этих лестниц жирные и липкие на ощупь, не протираются. Вокруг бассейна в течении дня не убирают, видно волосы на полу. Не видел спасателя ни возле одного бассейна. Но видел, как 6-7 летний мальчик много раз разгонялся по деревянной тумбе, что в 1-1,5м от воды и прыгал в бассейн и его никто не остановил. Если бы он поскользнулся и не долетел до бассейна...? Перед поездкой связался с отелем по поводу трансфера..., дали номер телефона компании. Типа звони и заказывай. Смысл писать об этой услуге. Я и сам могу заказать в интернете. Отель 5*, на ужин в субботу мы пришли пораньше, хотели сесть за свободный столик у окна, но нам не разрешили. Этот столик был зарезервирован, как и многие другие в удобных местах. Пожилой администратор (не официант) довольно грубо предложил нам сесть за один из 2-х свободных столиков в конце другого зала. Я не понял, значит заплатив за проживание бешенные деньги(по меркам Болгарии), я не могу сидеть, где мне удобно. Значит люди приехавшие просто поужинать в ресторан, имеют преимущество над постояльцами? Бред!

Previously I have given it outstanding reviews, but this hotel has nothing in common with a 5-star hotel anymore. It is dirty, moss around the pool, SPA is also not very clean, food quality is non-existant, rooms do not get cleaned at all, staff has changed… Pool bar prices increased, quality did not. After years of being their fan this summer changed my opinion, I don’t want to go there anymore.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Grand Hotel Velingrad. Every staff member I encountered was delightful and eager to help! Do yourself a favour and visit the lovely restaurant at the hotel. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted was prepared with fresh ingredients and was perfectly seasoned. Also the staff truly cares about your experience which makes the experience even better. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and spacious. The cleaning staff was exceptional too which was a big plus. I will definitely remember my stay, and would recommend visiting the hotel for your next trip to Velingrad!

The Rooms are Spacious, good mantained, the Staf is friendly. Excellant Mattresses, nice and clean mineral Water Pools, Sauna, Steam Bath etc., good Quality and Variery of Meals. Actually should deserve all its 5 Stars... BUT ... only IF there were no a Gipry Minority Quarter on the opposite Hill Side making terrible Noise 20 Hrs. a Day (mostly musical Type) and apart of that - terrible Smell of Smoke, caused by Burning of Auto Tyres and all burnable but oviously toxic and terribly smelling Materials. This is a real Noise and ecological Terror over the Hotel Guests.
