AD Lofts

The apartment is ideally located on a canal a 5-10 minute walk from everything in every direction. You can take a water taxi right up to it. The apartment, like everything in Venice, is old, but bathrooms are renovated and they put mobile AC units in each room so modern necessities are provided. It is spacious and charming. Best of all the hotel service staff are excellent. They communicate with you in real time using WhatsApp and can arrange anything you want, Which is very helpful when you have limited Italian! We travelled as a family of 2 adults and two teens and this place was perfect for us.

My family of 4 stayed here in April 2022. The location seems great right on a central canal, but it was so noisy. Noisy from 7am when they start deliveries until 3am. Woke me up every night. Also, the loft (we stayed in the 3 bedroom Gold loft) is in need of some TLC. The professional photos make this loft look amazing, but they removed all the decorations and left it very bare. The headboards are fake leather and were all scratched and peeling. The AC was not working the first day we were there and took a while for the poor front desk guy to come (just needed batteries). But there is only one AC and it is in one of the bedrooms (not main bedroom). The sliding door to the third bedroom did not work (and was not working for a while buy the scratch on the floor). and the shutter in this room would not close and flapped all night. And the master bed and bath as well as second bedroom were infested with ants. It is a nice large unit, BUT I would NEVER recommend staying here. The staff were all very receptive and came quickly to repair things and manager did give us a 10% refund. However, for over $800 a night, I expected a lot more.

We (2 adults, 2 children 9&12) had a most wonderful stay at the ‚Chic Appartment‘ with the typical narrow balconies facing a canal with its gondolas, watertaxis and bridges. It felt very much as being part of Venice. Having a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning and watching buzzing Venice on the canal or enjoying a drink and listening to the charming musicians on one of the gondolas at sun set. The appartment is very well kept and offers lots of space to take some time to relax in its arty atmosphere. Or again sit on the balcony reading a book. It was nice to prepare our own breakfast in the morning or salad, panini and cheese platter during the day. All of the basic necessary equipment can be found in the kitchen area. Including pots, a panini maker, bialetti (or capsula espresso machine WITH capsules), a variety of teas and a large fridge and freezer for your delicacies. It is situated very central no more than 5 minutes to the probably closest vaporetto stops of either Giglio or Rialto. There are nice restaurants and bars just around the corner. We also appreciated the very friendly and attentive staff at the reception. Thank you so much! We felt very thankful for being able to enjoy our stay at AD Lofts.

Our stay with AD Lofts exceeded our expectations in so many ways for our family of 4. The place was very large! A lounge area with dining table, 2 full sized bedrooms, a massive kitchen and dining area, 2 windows (with miniature balconies) open onto the canal where you can watch the gondolas go by. To our surprise there was a washing machine, 4 televisions and very efficient air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area. Incredibly clean (bathrooms and kitchen were the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel). The property was conveniently close to Giglio Vaporetto stop so only a short walk with suitcases (only one little bridge to cross). Finally, the check in member of staff was very friendly! She gave excellent recommendations for dining options, and clear instructions how to get to San Marco Square. I will recommend this property to friends and family without hesitation, and will return to stay again! Thank you AD Lofts.
