Hotel Mercurio
"Great was great location, but this hotel is more like a hostel, no lift, no amenities, no nothing, breakfast was mediocre at best. I wouldn't stay here again. Staff was very friendly though."
Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal
"Great location and friendly staff. Loved the eccentric Venice vibe of the hotel. Could do with a kettle with tea/coffee in room."
a&o Venezia Mestre
"No lockers were available, which made the stay not worth the price. We ended up spending an extra €30 on lockers elsewhere. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Not recommended for couples. The curtains don't close completely, so you have to sleep with the light coming in. I don't recommend it and won't be returning."
Hotel Lugano Torretta
"The location is quite convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, and there are bus stops nearby. There's no kettle, and all drinks in the mini-fridge, including a 500ml bottle of mineral water, cost 1.5 euros. The tray only has two glass cups, with no free coffee or tea for brewing. Even though I never use them, their absence makes the hotel seem cheap. The only saving grace was that the restaurant staff downstairs were very nice and willing to fill my thermos with hot water. There was only toilet paper, no facial tissues. This is the stingiest four-star hotel I've ever stayed in. I had already paid the full room rate, but upon check-in, they insisted on scanning my passport and credit card together for their records. Luckily, I had covered my security code beforehand. I don't understand why this rundown place needed to keep a credit card on file, probably for those overpriced drinks in the fridge? I'd been traveling for ten days, and all other hotels only required an additional city tax payment. This old-fashioned place was the only one that insisted on a credit card deposit."
Hotel Plaza Venice
Perfectly placed for easy sightseeing. It’s clean, professional, and lets you enjoy Venice's magic by day while retreating to a much quieter, more spacious room at night.
Hotel Principe
Right on the Grand Canal, this hotel lets you wake up to passing gondolas. It’s that classic Venetian elegance you see in movies, just steps from the station.
TARAK PALACE INN
"The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and patient; they waited for me until I arrived at noon. The air conditioning was already on when I arrived, and the room was very clean and comfortable. For this price, the quality is quite good, even by European standards. The facilities are also relatively new."
Palazzo Veneziano - Venice Collection
Experience romance in suites with private outdoor hot tubs. Overlook the canal from your balcony and share luxurious, unforgettable moments with your loved one.
Campanile Venice Mestre
"The front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, and the size was good too. The location is very convenient, close to the station and just a 10-minute walk to the main attractions. There are also a few good Chinese restaurants next to the hotel. About 300 meters from the hotel, there's a very large supermarket which is great for browsing. Staying here when visiting Venice offers excellent value for money."

Hilton Molino Stucky Venice
"I can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Having traveled to many hotels around the world, the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice truly stands out as the finest. We visited for our honeymoon, and the warm hospitality we received from the front desk and the restaurant staff was incredible—they made us feel so celebrated. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety and everything was delicious. The facilities were spotlessly clean, and every staff member was exceptionally kind and professional. Additionally, the accessibility to the city center was excellent, making our stay very convenient. Thank you so much for providing us with such wonderful, lifelong memories. Thank you!"
The Venice Venice Hotel
Stay in a beautifully designed hotel with premium rooms and top-tier service. Enjoy a delicious morning buffet in the heart of Venice's historic centre.
Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace
"I would have given them a higher score but we had a few issues. First the restaurant and bar were closed on one of the 2 nights we stayed. For a premium cost hotel I would expect to be able to get a drink in the bar. Breakfast was really poor. It was included in our rate but consisted of stale croissant and pan au chocolat. Poor selection of cured meat and cheese and one bowl of fruit salad. No toast. I asked for an egg and my daughter a crepe. We were charged an extra £25! Hotel was otherwise in a good location and rooms were lovely. New member of staff had started that day and he was brilliant."
Ca' Sagredo Hotel
"The geographical seat is very good"
Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after exploring Venice during the hot summer days, and the pool area is peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. We travelled as a family with one child. At check-in we were mistakenly given a double room, but after informing the staff, they immediately prepared and gave us a suitable family room, which we really appreciated. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options and was a perfect way to start the day. The bar also had a good selection of drinks and ice creams, which our child loved. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Venice."
Camelia Rooms Venice Guesthouse
"Very close to the train station, there are many restaurants nearby, the price is cheaper than in Venice, the shared kitchen is very dirty, the room hygiene is average, it is ok for a simple overnight stay, not noisy at night."
Hilton Garden Inn Venice Mestre San Giuliano
"There are bus routes to the main island and train station/airport just in front of the hotel. Room is clean and facilities are good."
Elite Hotel & Spa
"Good hotel. But not a comfortable sofa bed. A huge minus is the lack of doors between the rooms."
Antony Palace Hotel - Venice Airport
"The shuttle bus to airport and Venice island is very convenient"
Excess Venice Boutique Hotel & Private Spa - Adults Only
"Best hotel to have a nice time in venice We had a pleasant stay and the service was great"
Hotel Gabrielli - Starhotels Collection
"My family just stayed at the most stunning hotel in Venice - Hotel Gabrielli - for the most unbelievable four nights. We had selected a suite for our family of 3 which was generously and luxuriously proportioned into separate bedroom and living room areas, hallways, massive dressing room and a gorgeous marble bathroom. This was perfect as it allowed myself, husband and our young adult daughter absolute comfort, privacy and more importantly space as our suite was massive compared to other hotels that we had booked ( junior suites or deluxe suites) throughout our recent trip to Europe, especially in major cities. The hotel itself is conveniently located on the breathtaking lagoon on Venice’s famous Riva degli Schiavoni which is 10 minutes walking distance to Piazza San Marco. The neighbourhood also has the best restaurants, shops and cultural experiences which we appreciated especially exploring the city on foot in the middle of summer. Another highlight was the breakfast service in the Great Court & Felice al Gabrielli with the most delectable buffet and à la carte menu. I would recommend sunset drinks accompanied by complimentary snacks on the heart stopping roof top terrace. Additionally, the large exquisite gardens within the hotel property grounds with olive trees were absolutely magnificent & surreal to explore. Special thanks to Alessandro and the wonderful concierge team for ensuring our stay was wonderful as possible. The hotel & airport transfers via water taxis were exceptional especially as we had to depart at 4am to catch a return flight back home to Australia. We definitely hope to return soon."
NH Collection Murano Villa
"Amazing!!! I was hesitant to choose this hotel because it's not on the main island, but picking it was absolutely the right decision! Even though it's a bit further out, access to the hotel, the main island, Burano island, and the airport by water bus is excellent, making travel completely stress-free. In fact, you'll get to fully enjoy Venice's water bus sightseeing! The views from the hotel's terrace are lovely morning, evening, and night! Nearby, the restaurant next door (Valmarana) was incredibly delicious, and the local supermarket (Coop) was also great!"
