Hotels in Venice

"Staying on a higher floor is recommended, as the ground floor seems to be a bar or something similar, and it gets quite noisy. The hotel is very close to the train station, just a short walk away. There are also several good Chinese restaurants nearby. I took a walk around the neighborhood one evening and ended up in a community that seemed to have a lot of Black residents. It's probably best not to wander around there at night."

"The hotel does not provide any amenities other than towels and soap. It is close to the port of Lido, so it is easily accessible, and the service was very pleasant."

"Good location with easy access to bus & train station and water bus & half hour walk to San Marco. Room small & could do with updating (this seems in hand elsewhere in hotel) but has all you need for overnight stay. Plentiful breakfast with view of Grand Canal. Would have no hesitation rebooking."

"The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily."

"The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable to sleep! ! Although it is a public bathroom, because there are two rooms shared, there is basically no need to queue up, which is quite convenient. There are three keys to ensure safety. Hahaha. There are many Chinese restaurants and Asian Chao around. The station is also close. I should stay again. :)"

"Traveling as a family of four, we booked a king room and a double room. When we checked in, we mentioned to the front desk that we'd appreciate it if our two rooms could be close together. They were so thoughtful and gave us two king rooms right next to each other! To our surprise, they were even connecting rooms, which made looking after the kids so much easier. The hotel was very clean, and the location was excellent. Plus, you could even buy transportation tickets there."

"The room was big and spacious; there was a double bed and a set of twin beds. There were two small balconies from which you could see the national library. The toilet was ok, the shower would flood and there was a wooden beam kinda hanging loose. Unfortunately, the room is not soundproof and you can hear the noise from the upstairs and neighbouring rooms (especially the toilet noises)."

"An old hotel in the city center. Amazing breakfasts (they cook eggs to order, French toast, pancakes, etc., treat you to Bellini and other cocktails, carob coffee). Very nice staff, especially in the restaurant. But you should take into account that there are standard rooms on the first floor without windows."

"Because of the financial burden, I decided to stay in a place before the station instead of the main island of Venice, but the location was close to the station, so I wasn't afraid to go alone as a woman, and there was a large mart nearby, so it was good for shopping! The facilities were clean and nice enough to make me want to stay in the hotel longer, and I was really touched when I was greeted with a handwritten welcome postcard as soon as I entered!! If I go to Venice again, I'll choose this place again!!!"

"The facilities are a bit old but they are cleaned very well. The lady at the front desk was very kind and gave us a lot of travel advice. The hotel is on Lido Island and it is very convenient to go to the beach, but you need to take a bus to the main island, so you need to plan your budget and travel time reasonably."
