Few too many issues/annoying things that led to a bad experience. 1. When arrived we were given the wrong room, luckily I spotted on the card it wasn’t my name and we raised it immediately - what would have happened if I didn’t spot this? Not much of an apology gesture offered either. 2. Getting our room which was placed between toilets for general hotel use / guests / visitors etc either side of our front door - where you could hear EVERYTHING all day and all night (surely this isn’t the first time a complaint has been made). 3. Housekeeping - within 5 mins of arriving into our room surrounded by toilets housekeeping knock on the door to clean the room (really?) also the next day there’s clearly a “do not disturb sign on the door” and whilst being very unwell I’m awoken by someone trying to gain access to the room saying house keeping - and I have to say no thank you. Lovely hotel but suggest the room surrounded by toilets is looked at, as can’t imagine anyone will enjoy that - should be a severely discounted price with a warning tag. We actually ended up leaving a day early, as the experience was just uncomfortable and not as lavish as advertised. £700 we paid for 3 nights (left after 2)

I really wanted to like this hotel and was very much looking forward to it. I stayed in the Jr. General Suite costing $500/n. The room was nice. There were ants by the bed and on the entry doorway. Bugs aren’t a huge issue for me, but it wasn’t something I would expect in a hotel presenting itself as 5-star. I never received the bottle of Prosecco, chocolates and fruit bowl promised on their website for the room I reserved. My friend, who had a completely separate reservation and room, did get a bottle of Prosecco (less chocolate and fruit) and was told we needed to share. Mind you the hotel had no awareness we were traveling together until check-in. I was charged for a water taxi inappropriately, however this was resolved by hotel receptionist. Upon checkout the receptionist argued with my friend that she had additional charges and was attempting to charge her. The expenses were attached to my room. Again, we had separate bookings and rooms so I’m not sure why they kept confusing us. I provided feedback directly to the hotel to share my concerns in hopes it would improve the experience for future guests. The hotel staff never acknowledged or took accountability for the things that were promised but not delivered. It was clear the concerns reported did not matter to them. Overall room was nice and staff were kind. The hotel, however, fell short of what they say they will deliver. There are lots of other options for accommodations in Venice. Some of which will offer more for a lower nightly rate. I highly discourage booking this hotel.

This place has applied a new policy that customers should know about. It shows the truly illiberal and draconian attitude of Toronto While you are subjected to the freakiest clients in an insanely mean and woke city, now if you do not respond to their announcement of being overtime they confiscate your belongings and force you to retrieve them from a garbage bag. Yes, including your wallet, phone, keys, etc. TAKE your stuff without your permission and remove. it. Their reply is THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. Im assuming this means you dont get the same service as in a hotel, but I mean ***., its not more evidence that while they force this insane woke agenda on you, at the same time they take away your most basic rights of possession of your own private property. Americans beware. You will be appalled at the insanity of Canadas mean and illiberal left. Its truly world class for how INSANE and irrational it is.

Abbiamo partecipato ad un evento. Il cibo era veramente pessimo e di gran lunga sotto le aspettative per un hotel di lusso (pasticceria compresa). Scarsa informazione e presentazione dei piatti (ho rischiato una reazione allergica). Servizio mediocre (poca attenzione al cliente). Le due stelle sono una per la location in quanto siamo stati nel giardino molto carino e l’altra per il bagno curato e di buon gusto. Per un albergo a 5 stelle troviamo sia stata un’esperienza rapporto qualità/prezzo basso. Si consiglia vivamente di rivedere catering.

Sehr sympathischer und professioneller Empfang war im Hotel gegeben. Das Hotel befindet sich in ruhiger Lage, ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach San Marco. Hatte Junior Suite gebucht, ich bin mit einer Freundin verreist. Das Doppelbett war eher ein größeres Einzelbett. Bei der Buchung war das nicht ersichtlich. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, jedoch nicht im Preis inkludiert, was bei den Zimmerpreisen aber normal wäre. Homepage veraltet, da stand, dass man am Abend noch Kleinigkeiten bekommt. Die Rezeptionistin meinte allerdings "derzeit nein". Ein schönes Hotel, sehr gepflegt, Preis/Leistung nicht 100% gegeben.

I made mistake with the reservation and Anna at the front desk worked very hard to resolve the situation and accommodate us. It’s a beautiful hotel and the complementary Proseco was wonderful. My only regret in BF B.C. is not booking more time to explore Venice and enjoy this wonderful hotel. Thank you Anna!

Sadly this boutique hotel is trying to be something it is not. It calls itself '5 star' but it is very far from that. Fluffy bathrobes, slippers and complimentary bathroom products by Ortigia do not make up for the fact that the management of the hotel is somewhat haphazard and amateurish. Numerous mistakes were made during our stay including giving us incorrect information, promising to book a nearby restaurant and then booking somewhere else instead and at a different time....oh dear. All basic stuff. The A/C in the room was not functioning properly, the mini-bar fridge in the room was not cold. We accidentally broke a glass in the bedroom and cleared it up as best we could and informed reception. They said they would come and double check the floor to make sure all shards were cleared and taken away. This they did not do. The staff were rather mixed, some delightful, others sullen and unhelpful. You can stay elsewhere in Venice that offers much better value and a more professional service.

E' un buon boutique hotel, abbiamo preso una bella camera, grande e comoda, di buon gusto e in stile, buona la qualità del materasso e dei cuscini, bagno cieco ma abbastanza grande, sono però insufficienti gli appoggi per il necessarie. Abbastanza vicino a due differenti fermate dei vaporetti, si può arrivare e partire in taxi perchè è innanzi ad un canale. Quartiere molto grazioso, pieno di negozietti e localini, vicino al centro anche a piedi. Unica pecca per cui do una valutazione media è che la proprietà ha organizzato una festa privata nella hall che è andata avanti con musica altissima fino all'una di notte, poi abbassata ma non spenta, abbiamo dovuto sollecitare varie volte affinché abbassassero la musica. Un hotel è un hotel e non la casa della proprietaria, devi rispettare gli ospiti paganti, se desideri fare una festa privata o chiudi in quei giorni oppure affitti una struttura ad hoc. Colazione da migliorare.
