"Here's why I recommend this hotel: 1. **Amazing Breakfast**: The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse, the best I've had in all of Italy. I was so excited and happy to see canned yellow peaches! Studying in London and having traveled to France, Spain, and Italy, I've never encountered canned yellow peaches at breakfast before – I absolutely loved it! 💕 2. **Great Location**: Staying at the Plaza was super convenient. It's right opposite the train station, making trips to Venice incredibly quick and easy! 3. **Modern and Spacious Rooms**: The rooms are very new and generously sized. 4. **Helpful Luggage Storage Staff**: The staff at the luggage storage area were very dedicated and responsible. 5. **Friendly Front Desk**: The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. 6. **Chinese Food Galore**: Within a 10-minute walk, there are several Chinese restaurants! Who doesn't love satisfying their 'Chinese stomach' while traveling abroad? For all these reasons, I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting Venice."

"I highly recommend this hotel! It's incredibly close to the train station – literally a 5-minute walk. You don't have to cross any bridges or lug your bags around (apart from the station steps themselves). We booked a river view room and the scenery was lovely; I took photos of the view from the window, and it had a different charm both at night and in the morning. You can even soak up the sun while lying in bed! The room was very functional and had everything we needed. The breakfast area also had a great view, and the breakfast itself was decent for Italy, though our Hunan palates aren't quite used to it. The lady at the front desk was so incredibly nice! This trip was a bit rushed, and we only stayed one day, but if I ever come back to Venice, I'll definitely choose this hotel again."

"I stayed in the 9-bed female dormitory. The room features a keycard-operated auto-lock door. There is 1 toilet and 2 showers inside the room. Under the bunk beds, there are storage drawers with plenty of room for a small suitcase, which can be locked if you bring your own padlock. There is a convenient power outlet and light at the bedside, though there are no curtains. It's a quite large hostel. While having a shared kitchen was convenient, it lacked capacity and got very crowded during dinner time. Another kitchen would have made it much better. In the reception area near the entrance, there is a luggage cage available for free use. This also requires a padlock to secure. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from Venezia Mestre Station, making it a super convenient location even if you are pushing a heavy suitcase. There is an Ali supermarket nearby, which is handy for buying water, vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals."

"My stay was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, and the overall environment is clean and comfortable. The room decor is simple and modern, the bedding is soft and cozy, which ensured a great night's sleep. Although the twin room wasn't exceptionally spacious, it was well-equipped, and the natural light and soundproofing were both good. The front desk service was warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out very smooth. As an accommodation choice during my Venice trip, this hotel offered good value for money and a satisfying overall experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance."

"A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus."

"Well located hotel, with easy (vaporetto and by foot) connections to all parts of Venice. Breakfast was included and was good. There is a supermarket a couple of mins away. For those with mobility issues but does not use a wheelchair, please check what the hotel has in place to support you when the lift does not work. We chose this hotel as it has lift access to all floors. On the day we were checking out, the power was shut off for works (by the local govt and not the hotel). This resulted in the lifts being inaccessible, making it impossible for one person in our party to access the room. While the hotel was helpful in bringing luggage downstairs, it was concerning that they had no solution to help someone unable to take the stairs. We were fortunate that we had a solution that did not require help from hotel staff, but I am not clear on how someone with mobility issues and stuck on the upper floors would be able to move."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right near Venice Santa Lucia train station, making transportation very convenient. There are also many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself has a very Venetian character, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. If you can get a room overlooking the Grand Canal, the view would be stunning. The breakfast is also quite good, with a decent variety of choices, and dining by the canal is a great experience. However, there were a few drawbacks during this stay. Our room was quite small, and for two people, the space felt cramped. There was hardly any extra room to sit and relax, and opening two suitcases at once made it feel very crowded. The bathroom was also not very spacious. Overall, the hotel's biggest advantages are its location and ambiance. If you prioritize convenient transportation, Venetian charm, and canal views, this hotel is definitely worth considering. But if you have high expectations for room size and living space, I recommend booking a larger room type."
