What a fabulous hotel perfectly located a block from the Grand Canal and close to both the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square.
The receptionists are outstanding and answered all of our many questions with comprehensive answers, patience and respect. Can’t rave enough about them.
The rooms are even prettier than indicated on line, with plush bedding, a large bathroom and plenty of space.
Breakfast was convenient and offered a large variety of choices. Service was also exceptional.
Without question - you will enjoy this full service hotel. As a bonus, there is also an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcase up the stairs.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the pier, and the restaurant offers breathtaking views. Dinner service was acceptable. However, the compulsory service charge on the bill was excessively high. Bar service, on the other hand, was disappointing, with one particular staff member always having a cold demeanor. There was no complimentary bottled water provided in the rooms. Booking a superior room often results in being assigned an accessible room or a subpar one on the ground floor, and even if you're unhappy with your room, they refuse to allow a change.

We all absolutely lived it! The first impression is the super friendly staff. You have to climb quite some steps to reach the room (ard one floor of stairs? Not recommend if you have a lot of luggages) however the staff ran out and helped us to move most of the luggage's to our room. The check in time is actually quite flexible since we arrived at 1230 and the staff still allowed us to check in. The room is very spacious with clean toilets and bathroom, there are Shampoo and body washing separated and some to spare (since we ordered an extra bed in a double room) We are also very surprised about the extra bed because it is not an ordinary expandable sofa bed, but a normal bed. Apart from the nicest service we have ever received, the breakfast is also a highlight. There are tons of choices (sweets like milk pudding, croissant, fruits, normal breakfast like ham and bread) and you can order some specials from the menu. We did try their scrambled eggs and smoked salmon salad, absolutely spot on! It has to be the best breakfast I've ever had from hotel! The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, but quite some walk to piazza San Marco (ard 20 min if you didn't get lost) The hotel provide us a map so that we can find places easier, and turns out we did use this map way more than google map (Google map gets really inaccurate on the island), one service we like a lot again. Overall it's a very pleasant experience and we like the hotel very much! Definitely recommend!

The room was indeed very compact, only 17 square meters, with simple decor and no view. Luckily, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious, though the shower stall was a bit narrow. Slippers were provided, but no toothbrushes. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with small portions of each item. If you like bread, you'll be very satisfied. The biggest advantage is its super close proximity to the pier, offering direct access to the airport or various places along the canal. The service was also very warm, attentive, and polite.

I highly recommend this hotel! It's incredibly close to the train station – literally a 5-minute walk. You don't have to cross any bridges or lug your bags around (apart from the station steps themselves). We booked a river view room and the scenery was lovely; I took photos of the view from the window, and it had a different charm both at night and in the morning. You can even soak up the sun while lying in bed! The room was very functional and had everything we needed. The breakfast area also had a great view, and the breakfast itself was decent for Italy, though our Hunan palates aren't quite used to it. The lady at the front desk was so incredibly nice! This trip was a bit rushed, and we only stayed one day, but if I ever come back to Venice, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Lee_AThis was one of the most expensive hotel we have paid for during our Italy trip but the one with the worst check-in experience. As we saw reviews on Google that luggage has been stolen before with no camera to track, we wanted to lock our 2 luggages together for storage as the room was not ready. But the hotel staff became really defensive and did not allow us to do so, claiming that it’s difficult for him to handle for storage. The hotel even provided a slip that hotel declines all responsibilities of baggages. They do not want to bear responsibilities yet did not allow us to take basic precautions with our belongings. After sometimes debating with the reception and the staff, they finally allowed us to do so but gave really black faces even when we try to take picture of our luggages in the lobby.
Upon returning from our long day of walk, the positive note is that the reception and the staff handling our luggages have a much more positive attitude and were more helpful. There were a lot of small stairs to our room so the staff assisted with the luggages.
The main good thing is that this hotel is really near to Venezia Santa Lucia station and you do not need to carry luggages for a long distance across bridges. Facility is actually quite old and basic but at least clean. Breakfast view next to canal is good. Recommend for a short 1 night stay at Venice but we will likely not return again.

Guest UserThe room itself was alright – quiet and quite spacious. There was a two-person dining table and a TV at the foot of the bed, and the large window could be opened.
There was a €1.4 fee upon check-in. The front desk staff weren't particularly friendly; they assigned me to the worst-facing room, number 425, which was sandwiched between a highway and railway. I've seen comments about discrimination, particularly against Chinese guests, and I'm seriously starting to suspect it's true. However, the double-glazed window provided decent sound insulation. Even though there was some noise late at night, I was too tired to notice.
The only real plus was the extremely well-stocked kitchenware: cups, plates, bowls, frying pans, saucepans, cutlery, and even a dishwasher. The fridge was pretty useless as it didn't get cold. You can cook your own meals, and there's a big supermarket just a 5-minute walk away.
There were also 4 coffee capsules, which I assume were complimentary.
Overall, it was just okay, nothing special. The 1200 price point might be normal for this season.

Guest UserThe room isn't big, but it's very clean. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. The bus stop right outside is really convenient for getting to the main island, and there are lots of Chinese restaurants nearby. My only minor complaint is that it's still quite cold, and the heated towel rail was turned off.

The shuttle boat we booked with the hotel cost 22 euros per person and took us directly to the hotel entrance, which was a great experience. It was perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery of Venice without anyone else around. You can also take a bus directly to the entrance. I didn't visit the Glass Island last time, so I wanted to explore it this time. The hotel is right outside the scenic area, so it was a great place to wander around. The bus from the entrance goes directly to the main island, which is quite convenient, but you still have to walk a bit to the boat station. The room was average, not very clean, and the view from the window was lacking, so choose carefully if you mind. I stayed at a five-star hotel in San Marco on the main island last time and was dissatisfied because it was too old. I wonder if Venice is just like that. The beautiful weather and the beauty of Venice these days may make up for some of these shortcomings.

Very good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
