İ made reservation on Royal San Marco hotel but they gave us a different room on a different building ( 150 meters to hotel) every morning we are walking to hotel for breakfast. İf i want to stay ona a residence i was make reservation to residence, i made reservation to 4* hotel it was really bad experience

Our room was on the fifth floor. No WiFi during our entire stay at the hotel. Staff said no one complained so the problem must be our devices and not theirs. Cleanliness and service are not so great. A little hard to find the room for breakfast. Food was average and not a lot of options to choose from. Venice is beautiful. Overall, would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel muy bien ubicado, cerca del embarcadero y plaza san marcos, aun que muy pequeñas las habitaciones y mas la regadera, el desayuno básico pero bueno bufet de jugos, huevo, fruta, pan y café. El restaurante de al lado estaba muy bueno y surtido.

The hotel was dreadful. The room like a cell with dirty floors, tiny room, old bed spread, useless wardrobe and the bathroom was old with a tiny bath, wall mounted old fashioned hairdryer and so small and a shower over the bath with an old shower curtain. We were horrified, arrived late and didn't stay but left and re booked somewhere else. Do not book there. Thank goodness we were able to find somewhere else or it would have ruined our weekend. The corridor to the room was being decorated but had tarpaulin down and the corridor was dusty and gd old bits of furniture scattered along it. Just so awful. Thankfully they did not charge us as we complained and left.

Enjoyed a 2 night family break to Venice. Provided with an excellent family suite, more akin to an apartment for 2 adults and 3 children. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Excellent location just off St Mark's Square, well located to see all of Venice's main attractions. In laws had a smaller room for 2 adults which was more traditional in style with a small bathroom but more than adequate for a short 2 night break. I would definitely recommend this hotel if seeking a 2 or 3 night style break to Venice.

This was honestly a bad experience. the ONLY thing this hotel has going for it is the location, but even so there was a lot of noise because of the old windows. Booked a room that looked nice with vintage style furniture and got placed in the annex at an apartment with bamboo furniture and a bathroom from the last century, only to be told that we got UPGRADED! We asked and got moved the next day to our original reservation which was what we booked, by a rude front desk clerk, but still. The hotel is VERY tired, in desperate need of an update and DEFINATELY NOT 4 STARS!!

Très bien situé dans une petite rue à 2 pas de la place St Marc. Assez calme. Personnel sympathique et disponible. La chambre étant bruyante (bruit de moteur régulier), ils n'ont pas hésiter à nous en proposer 2 autres selon notre choix.
