The most convenient hotel on the main island, just turn right after exiting the train station and cross the bridge. There is a public transportation hub in front of the hotel where you can take a bus to the airport.
The room is relatively small and more expensive during New Year's Eve. Normally, the price/performance ratio is pretty good.

It is located right next to Piazza Roma in Venice, and it was very clean and nice as if it had been recently renovated. It's in a convenient location for walking or using the water bus, and it's not as noisy as around San Marco Square and Rialto, so it's good to stay.
