Hotel is pretty good. Although it is old hotel, the service is good. They only thing is the ground floor rooms are very smelly. .

Nous avions une belle chambre au 1er étage, quelle chance comparé à nos amis qui pour le même prix se sont retrouvés au rez de chaussée chbre 631, très basse de plafond avec petites fenêtres sans vue sur l’extérieur et une odeur d’égout masquée par des désodorisants écœurants . Dommage qu’il ait tant de différences. La chambre 631 ne devrait plus être proposée !
Néanmoins, en ce qui nous concerne, prestations à la hauteur de nos attentes.

La chambre 631 est à éviter +++odeur d égouts insupportable dans la chambre et la salle de bain masquée par un désodorisant entêtant.
Fenêtres minuscules sans vue ni lumière.

I’d give a zero but it wouldn’t take it. We booked for 4 nights but we left after the first and we have left before first night if we had another place. The next day we found a nice place even though we had to change rooms each night🙄but the new hotel staff were extremely helpful unlike San Marina in Venice. We were NOT told we would not be staying in the HOTEL but down the street and around the corner, down an alley. I will post photo of the entrance to our room from corner

2 people for 2 nights.
The location was perfect - 5 min walking from all the highlights, however it felt quite and private. The pastry shop across the street had nice coffee and delicious traditional desserts. Very local place.
The room and the dining area were super clean - 10!
The breakfast buffet had great variety and was tasty.

We had booked a deluxe room and it felt smaller than the photos.
The room was dark - needed the lights on even in the morning.
I am not a fan, but most of the hotels in Venice have this interior style -too crowded for me.
Minimum effort from staff. I would expect more from a 4* hotel.
Overall enjoyable stay! 8/10

Un 4 stelle da 2, camera da subito carina ma poi ti accorgi dei dettagli...prese che si staccano dal muro, nessuna presa x il caricabatteria del cell, bagno con soffione tt pieno di calcare che spruzzava acqua ovuque, rubinetto lungo centrale che nel lavandino che ti tocca metterti di lato per usarlo....personale educato e gentile, posizione ottima.

Lovely, charming hotel. Great choice at breakfast. Very well located close to Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. The rooms differ a lot in size and layout. We weren’t happy with the first room we were allocated, 634, as it was tiny and very stuffy but we were given a much nicer room, 626, which had a jacuzzi bath! Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort, location and value for money.

Nous sommes partis à Venise 8 jours, dans cette ville que nous adorons, nous nous y rendons régulièrement. Le Santa Marina que nous connaissons très bien nous a une nouvelle fois, plu énormément. Que du positif sur tous les aspects et, en particulier, les petits déjeuners extraordinaires en diversité salés et sucrés outre du prosecco offert, la classe. Le personnel est charmant, diligent. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr.
