Just got back after a 3 night stay at the hotel casanova venice, best thing about this hotel is the location, we stayed in room 332 and avoid at all costs, firstly the air conditioning wasn't working, went to use the safe and it had no mechanism to it, always choose hotels with a safe for our money valuables etc, so this was a massive disappointment to us, the wardrobes had mirrors but were frosted up due to old age, 6 hangers in total, room only had 2 electric sockets, and one was at best temperamental , breakfast was of poor standard and with little varation, worse scrambled egg I ever tasted, on waking up on the 2nd morning I was covered with nat bites, and now I'm back home I counted no less than 12 bites on me, if the air conditioning had worked we would not have had to endure this , we also had to pay tax on checking out and they would only except cash only, and wasn't asked if we enjoyed our stay whatsoever, by the can't be bothered receptionist, who where so rude it was untrue, venice is beautiful, but please guys do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere .

The only thing that was disappointing was that the room didn't match the pictures. We had one large room, not 2.

El tamaño de la habitación es bastante bueno, el servicio de limpieza fue muy amable cuando pedí que me cambiaran las sábanas porque mi bebé se hizo pis en la cama. La habitación estaba limpia, aunque las lámparas tenían polvo.. Los amenities muy muy justitos. Ni gel de baño dejaron... Solo gel íntimo en un sobre. El desayuno muy muy pobre, cosa que para mi es primordial en un hotel. Lo que si veo es que el personal no termina de complacer al huésped. Es como que les cuesta hacer las cosas... Pedí que por favor me calentaran al microondas unas albóndigas para cenar para el bebé y me mando al bar de en frente porque tiene la cocina cerrada... A ver... Es un calentón al microondas, no que te pongas a hacer fritura de pescado a las 10 de la noche...(no creo que la recepcionista no tenga acceso a un microondas en el hotel). También pedí tomate triturado en el desayuno para untar al pan de mi bebé y me dijeron que no, que no podían hacérmelo... Por otro lado, el jamón cocido estaba lamioso los 2 días que estuvimos desayunando... Son cosas que hay que cuidar en un hotel 4 estrellas...y que precisamente barato no es... En fin...

Not worth the money at all. It advertises air conditioning but it doesn’t work. You are supposed to be psychic as they don’t tell you this. The safe, again, doesn’t work. The rooms are overpriced and there are no coffee making facilities in the rooms. Not sure how it got a four star rating. It’s a three at best.

Cet établissement coche toutes les cases : propreté, localisation (50 mètres de la place Saint Marc), calme, excellents petits déjeuners sous forme de buffet, gentillesse du personnel, rapport qualité/prix raisonnable pour Venise. Seul bémol à nos yeux : aucune possibilité de nourriture et de boisson en cas d'arrivée tardive.
