Das Hotel atmet Geschichte und ist prachtvoll ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allen Dingen die Reception und der Concierge sind ständig bemüht, das maximale für die Gäste zu erreichen. So haben wir uns z.B. eine großartige Stadtführerin (Luigina Romor) empfehlen lassen. Die Terrasse am Canale Grande ist sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum abendlichen Drink perfekt. Die Lage in der Nähe des Marcus Platzes könnte nicht viel besser sein. Das Gritti ist immer noch der große Klassiker in Venedig.

A very special hotel with excellent service . Gorgeous rooms and wonderful food Sitting on the deck and watching the world go by is beyond wonderful The food in the restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent We used the water taxi to and from the airport was a lovely experience

Excellent hotel with a fantastic feeling of staying in an ancient palazzio. Great location, 10 mins walk to the main sights and museums of Venice. Excellent breakfasts and generally a great home cooked restaurant for lunches and dinners. Friendly and professional staff. Would recommend. Best wishes. Vladimir

The Gritti Palace is a credit to La Dominante - graced with staff that demonstrate a finesse and attentiveness that seem to be such rare qualities. From pre-arrival arrangements, to a most hospitable greeting from Charlie, this was a stay for the ages. Great thanks for the arrangements that Paolo and Michela put into place prior to arrival, as well as Charlie, who provided such a warm reception and tour of the hotel and suite. Paolo should take great pride in the staff he's assembled, as well at the addition of the Riva elements to the hotel. Speaking of warm receptions, the Coppa Volpi Suite was prepared most kindly with a welcome arrangement of flowers, fruit and champagne. It also provided a much needed private place of relaxation at one of the high points of the season. The Riva Lounge was a delight, and Club del Doge kindly provided a front row table for a delightful sendoff dinner. Transfers were arranged without a hitch. One is reminded of the words of one of Venice’s great writers: "We Venetians give our heart to strangers. We like to treat strangers in such a way that they will all give better reports of Venice than of their own home towns." The Venetian Twins Act 1, Scene 13 Carlo Goldoni Give it a go, you’ll very likely return.

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Gritti Palace in October. From the moment we arrived, the staff immediately took care of us. We were upgraded to one of the suite facing the lagoon before our arrival because of my Ambassador elite. The concierge was excellent, he was able to secure a dinner reservation for us at a very popular restaurant in Venice. We were so grateful for the experience. We had breakfast, lunch and evening drinks at the Gritti Palace during our stay and we loved all of the offers there. Venice is magnificent and this hotel truly adds luxury to the experience.

Very beautiful property and historic! If you have a chance to stay here you absolutely should! The rooms are big and spacious and the food was amazing! Front desk area is full of amazing history, sculptures!

Truly one of a kind hotel - beautifully renovated Venetian palazzo with a lot of history on the Grand Canal. The location is close enough touristy stuff and shopping but not right in St Marks Square (which is great!!). And no nothing beats a meal or drink in the terrace watching the boats go by. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the marble baths stunning. Where the hotels falls a little short is service — we had just come from the Hotel de la Ville in Rome so I couldn’t help but compare — and in comparison the Gritti Palace fell short. That said it is a bucket list hotel in Venice so highly recommend it if you are in the area and want to spring for a room.
