Alomost perfect but “Check in Guide”
As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didn’t receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests.
Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Don’t walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this building’s location . And we got cold because of October’s weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to “Campiello Diego” and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front desk’s WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room.
The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the “finding hotel” process, we like this hotel.
BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good.

The kids loved the camping a**osphere in the attic. It was spacious and comfortable while I was there, and it is easily accessible for trips to Venice or nearby islands. I knew in advance that I would have to check in somewhere else, so it wasn't a big inconvenience, even if it was a little inconvenient. There was no elevator and you had to carry your suitcase up the stairs, but it was worth it. The view of the canal from the balcony was nice.

The room is lovely and has a great view from the balcony. As stated in other reviews, the lock for the door isn't user-friendly at all, but that didn't turn out to be an issue on the second night as we came back in the evening to find that the cleaner had left our door wide open.

Our stay was amazing! Clean room, nice area, easy check in (beware: it is at a different hotel!).
The ONLY complaint we had was the bathroom sink was not properly draining but we were too busy exploring Venice for it to bother us. Haha. I’m sure they’ve fixed it by now.
