I stayed in the single room. Everything was decent and enough. All the staff are kind and friendly. Would stay there again.

The location is just 20 minutes walk from Santa Lucia Station, and the plaza is also 10 minutes away, so it's perfect. There are many restaurants around, and be sure to eat a lot of food in the old wild west of Venice.

The hotel is in a very good location for sightseeing and eating places. Better directions to get to the hotel would be useful.

To truly enjoy accommodations while traveling , the room itself and the service are equally important , for my experience with Hotel Ca D'oro has been a mixed feeling The room is really outdated and poorly maintained. The window panel almost fell when I opened it, there is no outlet near the table so you must connect the electric kettle to the floor , the shower room has a leak sprout and all the water gets out on the rim if you adjust the shower head :(
The managing team of two sweet Italian ladies speak fluent English and they have the warmest smile whenever you need them . I feel truly welcomed .
Breakfast is well prepared and quickly serviced .
Combining the room condition and overall service , my rating is 7/10.

Pros: property location close to touristic parts and 7 mins walk to main vaporetto stop ( including airport), but still quiet, staff, very clean, service room, breakfast
Cons: in a standard double room there is a buzz noise coming out from the electric panel, disturbing during the night. There is no shampoo (although a complete bathroom supplies for a 3* hotel) or small fridge.

Si trova nel sestiere di Cannareggio questo hotel non molto distante dal Ponte di Rialto e da San Marco dove ho alloggiato per ben tre notti. La mia stanza singola, non era molto grande ma dotata di tutto. Letto ad una piazza e mezzo, sedia, poltrona, scrivania, cassaforte, armadio, scarpine e prodotti per il bagno, phon e tv, oltre a tazza, bustine per il te e bollitore. Cambio asciugamani giornaliero. Nel complesso ottimo.

Truly a 5 star hote. Nothing is too much. The restaurant is an experience not to miss. They supplied a birthday cake for my husband. Lovely touch. The bedroom was amazing ( we had a junior suite). The tv had two sky film channels in English, a nice touch.Breakfadt was a buffet but the staff will prepare anything you ask for. All the staff are great and their English is good. We came in on the Orient Express, so a great way to finish an exceptional experience. The hotel is situated close to mist things.
