Hotel Ai Reali - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

It is my utmost pleasure to leave a review for this wonderful hotel. Firstly our baggage was lost due to the airline, but the receptionist Skerdi was brilliant, he calmly notified us of this happening before and that he would assist in calling the airport to check whether the baggage had arrived for us. They knew about my partner and i celebrating an occasion so they prepared accordingly, they went beyond and above to provide information and help when they didnt need to. Special mention to Skerdi and Nicola, the best hotel service ive experienced and im a frequent traveler! The breakfast staff were kind, patient and attentive. The location ofnthe hotel is quite perfect as it is nearby Rialto and you could practically walk everywhere else. This has been an absolutely memorable stay and we will be back most certainly.

Hotel was conveniently located to all the mains areas. The hotel itself was beautiful and the service was great. Milo the bartender was amazing make sure you stop by and get a drink from him. We will definitely be coming back here again!

A great hotel in perfect location to enjoy Venice. Many thanks to the team at Ai Reali Hotel who provided an excellent stay for four nights, including a good standard of breakfast, with excellent options available, with a glass of Procesco if wanted.. The rooms are very well appointed in a typical Venetian style and elaborate furniture throughout. The Reception Team were very, very helpful with suggestions and making bookings and we thank them for arranging for an alternative room after a small problem with lighting. A big thank you to the experienced Bar Man who was a wealth of knowledge and great entertainment. We shall never forget the amazing view over the canal from the lobby - Truly memorable.

Absolutely EXTRAORDINARY! The hotel is pristine, extremely clean and super elegant. Suites are spacious and exquisitely appointed. The staff is extraordinary and goes out of your way to make your stay a marvelous one. Suite has a separate area with a sofa bed for kids. The restaurant is a Michelin star and well deserves that award. We had a chef degustatione menu and it was out of this world. The location is unparalleled to walk or take a boat anywhere in Venezia. They arranged for our taxi to the train station and prepared breakfast to go on our departure since we weee leaving before they open their amazing buffet breakfasts. Highly recommend without hesitation. We will be back!

This hotel is perfectly situated in Venice close to all the attractions and endless dining options. Located right on the canal it is 100% quiet to any outside noises. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating to it's guests. Breakfast buffet daily the usual American style scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage and hot dog type lol. Waffles on day 1 pancakes on day 2. Plenty of pastries and fresh fruit. A make your own Americano coffee station and Expresso/Cappuccino on request. Served 7:30-10:30. A wonderful bartender we visited Milo I believe was so nice we all talked quite a bit I would recommend to stop in. It is a bit slow here right now so he appreciated the business. The rooms while tight were very well kept and we had what we needed. It is one of the more pricier places but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and it's proximity to all of the attractions. Arrive by water taxi as it is door to door or 15 minute walk with luggage if you don't.

The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. Our suite was magnificent and well Adorned. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Their restaurant has a Michelin star rating and the fare was ok but a bit more fluff than anything. It was good but the Maitre’d was a bit rude. It certainly wasn’t my first experience at a Michelin restaurant but honestly the Maitre’d made the experience less likely to return there to eat. But the hotel itself is well worth the stay!

Just getting around to writing this review. My sibling and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ai Reali back January 20 for 4 nights. Loved: -Taxi - taking the private water taxi arranged through the hotel. After a long flight from the U.S. what a treat not to hassle with navigating logistics. Someone meets you at baggage claim exit holding a sign with your name and escorts you from there. Easy peasy and what a fun way to kick off your trip jetting down the canals and drop off right at the hotel pier. Hotel- just wow! Old historic palace gorgeous and luxurious. Once we got settled in we walked around checking out the various rooms in the public spaces. Fun to imagine the past. The hotel maintains an historic feel, yet it is modernized. Fully refurbished. Beautiful everywhere you look. -Hotel location - we absolutely loved the location. Center of everything yet the hotel is located on a quiet street. To explore you could walk everywhere or combine with taking a vaporetto which is an easy couple minute walk to catch. We would say at the end of the day how it felt so peaceful to get out to the middle of everything and get back to the peaceful location of the hotel. -Rooms- Hotel took care of us and positioned our rooms near each other on the same floor. Simplified our stay. My sibling had a room that looked right out on the canal with the gondolas going by! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms all renovated to perfection. Housekeeping did a fabulous job. -Breakfast- the best buffet with plenty of delicious options both hot and cold. It was fun how they would put a unique dish each morning on the buffet. Usually something we never tried. We used our breakfast time to review our upcoming day itinerary in a cozy, beautiful and comfortable room where you could look out on the canal drinking a hot coffee drink! -People- most important is everybody we encountered in the hotel treated us kindly. They always had a smile and positive attitude to help with whatever we needed guidance with whether logistics, restaurants or any of your travel needs that came up. What a great experience. We LOVE visiting Venice off season! All those tourists are still at home. This time of year also affords better deals at hotels and better chances of nice upgrades. We had booked 2 rooms for 6 nights. This was our first time at this property and we will return. This was our 4th time to Venice, the more you come, the more you find to do and also make great day trips. This hotel checked every box us, great location with everything you could want close by. The rooms were perfect, lots of old world Venice charm, that's the whole reason you come here right? The staff was wonderful and the breakfast in the morning was top shelf.

Hotel Ai Reali Di Venezia is a very nice hotel in a great location in Venice. Only about a 2 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge and about 5 minute walk to San Marco Square. We had a Junior Suite Canal view which was everything we had thought of for a Venice vacation. The room was classic Venetian style with 2 windows that overlooked a small canal. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I didn’t love was the bathroom. It was very large which was nice but the lighting was horrendous and the shower wasn’t very big, yet had a huge rain shower head so it was almost impossible to get out of it to wash yourself. The bathroom also had a large bath tub but my opinion would have been better off getting rid of the it and doubling the size of the shower. Also not sure what was going on with the air conditioning. You could set it as low as 35°F, yes Fahrenheit not Celsius, but it never felt cooler than like 75°F. It was cool outside in the 50’s which helped but I could see being pretty hot in the summer. Not the cheapest hotel but was very nice if you’re looking to have a fantastic Venetian stay.
