A beautiful hotel in an old Venetian palazzo that previously belonged to a wealthy family. The location of the hotel is very good - everything is nearby, and the famous bookstore "on the canal" is located in the neighboring courtyard. Also nearby is the Ospetale vaporetto stop to the airport.
The service at the hotel is good, we had breakfast, not very rich, but by Italian standards it was quite filling, we filled ourselves up with it. A very nice girl works in the cafeteria.
The hotel has two entrances/exits, one of which is to the square, and the other to the canal, which makes for beautiful photographs.
The only big minus is the unrealistic audibility in the room! Every morning we suffered from walking back and forth in the heels of our upstairs neighbors, who got up very early and for some reason walked around the room from corner to corner for a very long time.
Overall, for 4 stars and such a historical building, it’s a very decent hotel, we liked it, thank you!

Great location if you’re planning to stay in Venice! Not crowded but in the heart of everything. Easy to walk to the tourist spots! It’s own building and not attached to a store or anything so it was really nice. Super clean and the staff was very friendly!

A wonderful and dreamy accommodation experience. In an ancient city like Venice, it is so unique to be able to live in a noble palace and enjoy the fairy-tale window view.
There are a few gentlemen at the front desk. I am on a business trip this time. Thanks to them for the printing arrangement.
Very convenient location, not far from anywhere, they arranged water taxi for us when we left, the price is affordable.
I am reluctant to leave and hope that I will choose to live here again if I have the opportunity to come to Venice again in the future.

The location of this hotel is great no complaints about it, the stuff is nice friendly and helpful too. The room itself is old without anything other than beds cardboard and a very old school hair dryer. I don’t know why but they don’t even have something to hang the toilet paper which is pretty funny. The 1st day the housekeeper was good we came back to a nicely cleaned room, the 2nd day was like the housekeeper just did what the eyes can see they never even clear away the old towels and all. If a short stay for the location it’s alright but as a 4 star hotel I have no idea how they got it.

Renee and I absolutely loved our time at the Ruzzini Palace Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Every time I emailed Mario with a question, either he or someone else answered it promptly. The hotel is located in a premier area in my opinion. It was easy to walk anywhere I wanted to go and if I didn't want to walk far, there were plenty of activities right outside the door. I will come to the Ruzzini Palace Hotel any time I visit Venice in the future. Ciao!

Wonderful stay. Warm, welcoming staff. Comfortable & spacious rooms. Amazing *****nis. Convenient location for galleries & museums. Fabulous local restaurants too. Made our Biennale experience extra special. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel, staff very helpful, room although an attic room has everything we needed. Location excellent for all Venice attractions all within 5 minutes walk. Water taxi from airport able to drive right up to canal doors for hotel. Perfect for a city break.

Website shows rooms with gorgeous views. After paying in full, I was put in the room next door to the reception desk. Low ceiling, dark room, no view at all except of bushes outside window. I was so disappointed. Also the only hotel of 5 I stayed in in Europe that didn't provided breakfast in room charge, it was an additional 20 euros per person! I would not recommend this hotel. How it could put any guest in that room after its ads, is beyond me. Only hotel of my 19 day trip that is getting a bad review.
