This hotel was exactly what we were hoping for and more! It is beautiful inside and out, and the breakfasts were the best we had while in Italy! I cannot overstate how perfect the location is. It is a very short walk to San Marco and Rialto, and yet the moment you set foot into the pocket of serenity that is their charming courtyard, it is quiet and peaceful. We will absolutely be staying here again if we return to Venice, and I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone!

Hôtel très bien situé, dans une petite rue au calme. Personnel qualifié, agréable, souriant, et aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner suffisant. Petit bémol sur la chambre : pas de climatisation lors de notre séjour (il faisait très chaud dans la chambre + moustiques impossible d'ouvrir) et la salle de bain. Lors de votre réservation, précisez bien que vous souhaitez une salle de bain avec une douche "moderne" sans rideau. Un rideau de douche pour un hôtel (sois disant) 4 étoiles.

Hotel Al Codega is tucked away in a quiet courtyard centrally located between St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. It is an easy 5 minute walk to both. The convenience of the hotel is great. It also has a great breakfast, not just eggs, cereal, and other basics but also waffles to order and some daily special dishes. My room was small but clean and nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Fantastic location in a private courtyard between St Marks Square and Rialto. Phenomenal breakfast. Our room was small but very comfortable. No A/C available for our mid May stay but like other hotels they might turn it on starting in June. They really thought of every creature comfort to pack into the small room—the TV was inside the mirror! The staff were welcoming and accommodating. It’s worth paying more to be in San Marco, and you’ll be treated right here.

The staff were lovely. Always kind and accommodating, quick with cleaning and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed for new year and it was a great experience. Very close to San Marco Square and other key attractions.

Das Hotel ist sehr nett. Unser Zimmer war groß, Bad und Klo waren getrennt. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Matratzen waren aber leider recht hart. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr vielseitig und gut. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Alles in Allem ist das Al Codega ein zentral gelegenes Hotel, das man für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Venedig durchaus empfehlen kann.

Hotel Al Codega was absolutely fantastic! The location is ideal - just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Yet, the hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed, with a classic Venetian elegance. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Al Codega to anyone visiting Venice. It's a perfect combination of comfort, location, and excellent service.
