The owner, Tony, was extremely nice. He provided prosecco, water, and cappuccino for us. It was further away from the crowds at the grand Canale, but close enough to walk quickly to the location. Ease of getting a gondola right outside on the canal. Many restaurants nearby. Takes about 15 minutes walking from the parking garage (make sure to book in advance - we did not and had to do the further parking garage, which was about a 30 minute walk, but beautiful scenery. We were unable to stay the two nights (could only stay one night due to our flight being moved up), but told we would still be charged for two nights. The cancelation policy says we would only be charged one night for cancelation. We did not realize the bathroom was not attached, but it does clearly state that so that's my fault. It wasn't too bad though. In a small location with good security to get to room. Bed a little uncomfortable, but still slept decent. Tiny room, but to be expected in Venice.
