We booked this place last minute as we were on the train to Venice. The owner responded quickly and came back to the hotel late at night to give us the room. He was very nice and professional. He also upgraded us to the canal view room which was nice since it had the private bathroom and balcony with a small breakfast table. The bathroom was a very good size and also very clean. The owner recommended quite a few things to do in Venice and a couple restaurants as well. We didn’t have to leave Venice right away when we checked out, so he said we could leave the bags there for the time, which was very nice of him since he didn’t have to offer that. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was helpful with recommendations. This property was not conducive to families. Needed to be super quiet. It was terribly difficult to enter and leave. Air did not work. The room was 90 plus degrees. We all sweated terribly and now they are asking us to pay 300 plus euro for a new mattress claiming someone wet the bed. They said they’d get us a water taxi. Taxi was 20 minutes late and we almost missed our flight. It was terribly difficult to get our luggage up the stairs. Tunnel entrance was frustrating!!!! No staff around. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. You weren’t allowed food in the room. They provided no water. I would not recommend this to anyone. We did not sleep. Terribly uncomfortable.

Prima shuttle service van het vliegveld met persoonlijke toelichting van de Antonio lopend door Venetië. Fijne kamer met balkonnetje en leuk uitzicht. Service altijd beschikbaar door vriendelijk management. Een aanrader!

This is a really nice little hotel about 15 mins walk from both the bus and train station, as well as St Marks and the Rialto. The owners were in contact with us to make sure checkin was easy, and we were offered a free glass of prosecco on arrival. The room was small, but functional and had the authentic venetian feel of being slightly lopsided! An added bonus was a little balcony with a view of a canal and sweet little bridge that was nice in the evening. The room we were in didn't have an adjacent bathroom, which we did already know, however online it is slightly portrayed as being down your own private corridor to the private bathroom whereas jn reality it was past all the other rooms and then opposite another one! Not bad though at all. The owners were also really helpful with food and attraction suggestions, as well as advice on how to get to and from the airport. This is a very nice place for couples for sure.

Such a lovely, typically Venetian place to stay! Antonio was fab - so helpful. Our room (102) was gorgeous and had its own little balcony overlooking the canal. The room didn't have an en suite but the private bathroom that was just for that room was only down the corridor and robes were supplied. There were rooms with en suites but we wanted a balcony. The room was clean, a good size and a firm bed with lovely pillows. Great location - ten minutes walk from everything including the train station. We would definitely return here again. If I had to be picky, I struggled with the hairdryer- couldn't really blow dry my thick hair very effectively. But that is my only complaint!

This quaint little B&B was by far our most favorite room on our 2 wek trip in Italy. We had a flower lined balcony that overlooked the canal where we were able to catch a gondola ride. The room was was very quiet and extremely peaceful. The bathroom was large and had well appreciated drawers to keep toiletries in. The decor of the room was romantic, warm and comfortable with long flowing floor to ceiling drapes and French doors that opened out to a beautiful quiet little street with a view of the canal. There was a great little mini fridge to keep cold drinks in. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that my wife an I have ever slept in. Right out the door was a beautiful piazza with several amazing restaurants a pastry shop and even a small super market. We spent 2 weeks win Italy, many nights at 4 and 5 star hotels…this room was by far our favorite room on the trip. The innkeeper Antonio was like an old friend welcoming us to his home. As soon as we arrived at this idyllic property. Antonio helped us arrange transportation to St Marks and suggested amazing restaurants. He also arranged a water taxi for us that pick us up steps away from our room for a trip to the airport. When we travel back to Venice again we will always stay with Antonio at the Dimora Al Doge Beato Vista Canale.

The owner, Tony, was extremely nice. He provided prosecco, water, and cappuccino for us. It was further away from the crowds at the grand Canale, but close enough to walk quickly to the location. Ease of getting a gondola right outside on the canal. Many restaurants nearby. Takes about 15 minutes walking from the parking garage (make sure to book in advance - we did not and had to do the further parking garage, which was about a 30 minute walk, but beautiful scenery. We were unable to stay the two nights (could only stay one night due to our flight being moved up), but told we would still be charged for two nights. The cancelation policy says we would only be charged one night for cancelation. We did not realize the bathroom was not attached, but it does clearly state that so that's my fault. It wasn't too bad though. In a small location with good security to get to room. Bed a little uncomfortable, but still slept decent. Tiny room, but to be expected in Venice.

This was our first time in Venice and the room was perfect for us with a little balcony overlooking a canal. The host Antonio was extremely helpful recommending places to visit, showing us how to get there and recommeding places to eat. The location is in a quieter neighbourhood ehich was great as the tourist locations are very busy so it was nice to be able to step back but still very easy to access all of the popular tourist sites and train station on foot. We will definitely go back and stay here again in the future. Thank you Antonio.
