Comodo, vicino alla stazione, qualità prezzo non si discute. Peccato perché potrebbe essere migliorato, in quanto i bagni sono usurati , il nostro senza finestra con un odore sgradevole di fogna che si sentiva anche dal letto. Titolare disponibile e gentile, colazione essenziale.

The rooms are basic and the heating is not always on

Just back from a four night stay in Casa Mimma, Santa Croce, Venice. A simple, clean, comfortable, secure, bed and breakfast in an excellent location for bus and train stations. We had a ground floor, double en suite room looking out onto a small patio garden. Walking from the bus station, we found the premises quite easily with the use of a good map. There is a door buzzer and keysafe box outside to which we were emailed the crucial number, day before arrival. We were checked in by the pleasant owner, given our room keys, a front door key and a key to the small safe. Decor is typical venetian style with ample drawer and wardrobe space, small television. The bed was very comfortable and when requested, we got two extra pillows. The shower room was clean, fresh towels, and toiletries provided. Loads of hot water and good shower. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 and is very simple - croissants, toast, jam, butter and tea/coffee. We enjoyed our stay and were able to see most of Venice over our four day break.

Although we only spent one night it was pleasant and very convenient since when we arrived our room was ready, it was close to the main train station and we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours to continue enjoying the city and continue our trip later.

No bathroom in the room!
Not only is there no buffet breakfast, that's an outright lie. But there isn't even a table to sit at. Four of us had to sit at a table designed for two, right in the entrance/exit passage. Given the quality of the breakfast served, it was probably better not to have it
