Un palais magnifique, dans lequel on se projette 5 siècles en arrière (décorations, mobiliers, poutres...). En parfaite harmonie avec la cité des Doges. Très bonne literie, calme, jardin charmant, petit déjeuner tout à fait correct (choix limité mais bien compréhensible eu égard au petit nombre de chambres) (chocolat chaud délicieux), accueil sympathique et efficace, wifi impeccable, très bien placé... Merci beaucoup !

I looked long and hard for a great, affordable hotel in Venice that checked many boxes, and this was it! The people were so nice, the hotel itself had old world charm mixed with modern amenities, the breakfast was a great mix of fresh fruit, bakes goods and even offered eggs. It was off the main drag but quiet and serene when we were there. And the front door opened right onto a smaller canal. Just loved our stay so much! Can't wait to go back.

Sans conteste, l’hôtel est très bien placé, à 100 m de nova strada et du vaporetto de Ca d’Oro, sans en avoir du tout, le bruit ou l’affluence. L’hôtel est dans un vieux palais, avec très haut plafond, stuc, lustre de Murano, papier peint damassé… le charme de Venise… Mais aussi quelques inconvénients, comme les planchers qui craquent quand quelqu’un se lève au milieu de la nuit. C’est un petit hôtel, au petit déjeuner, nous devions être six au maximum. La réception est ouverte 24/7 avec des employés très à l’écoute, et cherchant à vous faire plaisir. Le petit déjeuner est bon, continental donc avec des œufs, fromage et charcuterie. Néanmoins rien d’exceptionnel comme on a pu le lire dans certains avis. Les jus de fruits mériterait d’être changé, ils sont franchement industriels mais c’est un détail. Il faisait un peu frais en mars, mais leur terrasse, avec un beau jardin doit être très tentante en été. La chambre était relativement grande, avec de magnifiques poutres et vue sur le jardin. Très propre également. Néanmoins, elle mériterait un bon coup de rénovation. Tache d’humidité au plafond dans le petit couloir. Décoration de la salle de bain un peu datée et abîmé par endroit. Literie trop molle, et avec des couvertures et non des couettes

The hotel is located in the middle between the main arrival in Venice spots Piazzale Roma and St. Marco square. Easy to reach. It is a hidden gem away from main canals or busy pedestrian streets, noisy restaurants. Not a huge hotel, but rather small and very cozy, like small private family home. Our Room No 23 was wonderful. Green colours, paintings on the ceiling, old classical furniture. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Breakfast is very good compared to other hotel in Venice options. And it is not only Italian style - sweet options and coffee. You can get much more here. We have not missed anything there. After trying 4 luxury hotels in Venice this would win if needed to come back again. Wifi was quite slow, but I am spoiled by too good internet at home. Also in the room was very hot and no options to control central heating, but opening the windows during the night solved the issue.
