This Old World Luxury Hotel in a quiet neighborhood made for the perfect stay in Venice. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would. The staff was amazing: at check in we were seated outside in a beautiful garden overlooking the grand canal, given fresh lemon water as the reception desk checked us in. The hotel manager Luana Mazzega came over to welcome us and let us know she was available if we needed anything. The room was spacious and had adequate plugs for all our devices and phones. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with lovely linens. The bathroom had a bathtub with an excellent shower: lots of water pressure and plenty of hot water which is not always the case in some hotels. It was sparkling clean with luxurious towels. The provided toiletries were first class. Breakfast was served inside or outside on a lovely patio. The menu was broad with anything you could want. Excellent coffee, pastries and food selection. The service was impeccable. We sere served in a timely manner, with great attention to our needs. The waitstaff were friendly and so polite. The hotel has a water taxi right on the canal as well as it is very close to the public water bus which we used without any issue. Several excellent restaurants near by and the hotel has a 2 star Michelin restaurant on the grounds. Every night our room was prepared with fresh bottled water, slippers and a treat of chocolate or candies. Just an extra special touch in this quaint, classic and amazing hotel. We spent every evening just sitting in the garden, looking at the boats go by. It was such a relaxing a**osphere after a busy day of sight seeing. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and I really cannot find the words to describe just how peaceful and beautiful this hotel is and how exceptional the service was there.
