Hidden gem! Only stayed for one night. Clean comfortable and very welcoming atmosphere. The food was wonderful in the beautiful garden.

What a little gem. We only went for lunch but was really impressed. The wine list was outstanding. I am so glad we found this hotel. We will definitely stay there next year. Food was excellent. Reminded me of a little boutique hotel in Goa. Absolutely wonderful.

Precioso hotelito, lleno de detalles, muy bien decorado y cómodo. El desayuno está bien, y mejor aún si se toma en el jardín. Tiene un restaurante para tener en cuenta. Comimos realmente bien, también en el jardín. Pero lo mejor de todo es la atención de todos los que trabajan allí. Nosotros tuvimos contacto especialmente con Beatriz y con Toñi y fueron un encanto. Volveremos.

Just outside Garrucha you could easily miss it driving by. A must to eat here where you receive a warm welcome from Sean and his wife. A native American who now lives in Spain. Sean is wine connoisseur who has a wine shop in the hotel/restaurant. The restaurant is tasteful decorated and very nice. We usually eat outside in the garden which has a banana tree and small pool. The food is delicious and a must to eat here. There are music nights and wine tours organised by Sean too. I recommend the seafood chowder as a starter. We have eaten here a few times now and look forward to more. We've not stayed in the hotel though. It's worth booking!

Hola, nosotros hemos estado en septiembre y muy bien, pensábamos que no iba a ser de nuestro gusto puesto que no es un súper hotel, y la verdad que nos ha encantado! La habitación súper bien (no había más para reservar que la suite junior, que se compone de salita, habitación y baño en mármol muy limpio y bien decorado). Tenía dos aparatos de aire acondicionado, uno para la parte de la salita y otro para la habitación y el baño. Tiene caja fuerte que se debe preguntar en recepción para que faciliten una llave, y el baño dispone de secador de pelo (con difusor aparte), toallas, gel y champú por si no llevas. Lo miramos por muchas reseñas muy buenas de internet y la verdad que dan en el clavo; los anfitriones y dueños majísimos los dos tanto Beatriz cómo Sean son personas inigualables, atentos, pendientes y encantadores. No pensábamos que nuestra visita daría de sí tanto como para conocerles y desde el primer momento ellos muestran esa cercanía como muy "familiar" que cuando vas de vacaciones no tienes... Un puntazo! Nos ha encantado conocer Almería estando allí hospedados sin duda volveremos por aquellos lares, para poder disfrutar del buen hacer de las personas que allí residen. Muchísimas gracias por todo!! Un saludo y hasta más ver!

Acogedor, elegante, bien situado, cómodo, familiar. El restaurante, con toques de cocina internacional, se diferencia del resto en el entorno. Pero lo mejor sin duda es el trato de sus dueños. Muy recomendable para huir de los típicos hoteles de playa.

THE GOOD The suite we stayed in was clean enough, sitting room bedroom and ensuite with air conditioners in both main rooms. The hotel has a cracking wine shop and a better than decent restaurant which extends to the garden providing a really nice spot for dinner and/or breakfast. THE BAD If the pool and a swim is important to you then don't be fooled by clever pics on ***********. The pool is small and (at least while we were there) filthy and completely unusable. Also be aware if you buy wine in the hotels wine shop and expect to have it with dinner you will be charged corkage of 6 euros. I found this a little difficult to swallow because in my opinion I have paid to stay at the hotel. I have bought the wine at the hotel and never removed it from the premises, ergo I didn't expect the corkage. If I had bought wine from an off licence/super market then fare enough but this is not the case. SUMMARY Nice room, good food in nice restaurant setting, filthy and completely unusable pool

Private boutique hotel & restaurant owned run by Sean and Beatrice. Lovely hosts ... Food exceptional. Wine tasting afternoons, menu del dia, private groups catered for. They also organise wine trips in the region for a fabulous day out. The garden to the rear of the restaurant is an absolute haven ...so peaceful and with a small pool in which you can sit and dip your toes even!! Excellent location for a chill out. There is also an in house bodega with an amazing array of wines.... And Sean does a mean martini espresso too!!
