The Driftwood Resort is an absolute gem. The property is beautiful and the staff is excellent. The gentleman that checked us in couldn’t have been nicer. All of the staff and the restaurant onsite were outstanding as well. What a great vacationing place.

We, as a family have been going the Driftwood for several years. Over the last few years, we have encountered a front desk employee named Lynn who was rude, interrupting, showed no hospitality, and even bashed other employees that work there. All she cared about was "getting our money" for our stay. She was highly unprofessional and we decided our time at the Driftwood had come to a close!! We don't understand how someone of her caliber is assigned to work with people. She is a liability not an asset!!

The Driftwood Resort is very famous. The staff could not have been nicer. It has a fun bar with live music. Right on the beach. But there are some aspects of it that I found bizarre. They don't want you to take your own food to the beach-- no coolers allowed. WHAAAAA??? Also, some of the rooms are very dingy looking, old rugs, unpleasant colors, musty smelling. The kitchen is minimal. Pools are small. If you have bad weather, it's not bright and cheery in the room. The landscaping looks very run down.

Been on my bucket list to visit this place since it just looks so eclectic. And it is. Love that there was a restaurant on site. Some of the nights they had live music. The parking lot can be a little dicey because there is not a lot of extra parking. But that’s OK. They had security in the parking lot to make sure no one was just parking there who was not staying at the resort. we had an efficiency room 405. It had been updated. Had an amazing view of the ocean. Could see sunrise on one side and sunset on the other. It is small I do not think four people could comfortably fit in there unless there were maybe kids. But it was just my husband and I and we were practicing snowboarding in January and absolutely love the area and the resort. We will be back

We staying at the historic building D, above the Waldo restaurant, second floor with porch and view of the ocean, pool and outdoor cafe. I loved the decor from the 40's and being able to have early am beach walks on site and early am coffee on the porch. It gets loud and busy on the weekends with live bands and there were some early am food deliveries right below us. There are small social get-togethers and grounds and pools are well kept. The partial kitchen has no stovetop, but there is an electric fry pan with deep sides for cooking dishes, a microwave, toaster and coffee maker. We had a full refrigerator. Lovely shops and eateries within walking distance. Would definitely come back here!

Our unit was beautifully located in the main building, which is at historical building right off the beach with a huge balcony for viewing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. so much was within walking distance in Vero Beach that I believe we only used our car one time during a week stay. Wonderful view sunrises over the ocean. The unit itself needs some serious updating furniture was old and uncomfortable as was the decor in the rooms. TV and appliances could also be upgraded

Spur of the moment we decided to see if we could book a room this weekend, last Monday. Three rooms left. We decide to take the beach front 111....WOW! From the get go. Rainy from the moment we arrived to the moment we left...Who cares! It was fabulous! From check in..the wonderful peeps checking is in, to the other guests, we were welcomed. We ran into Waldos to wait for the rain to subside a bit, and enjoyed a couple delish cocktails, then finally to our room....more like CONDO...two stories of lovliness with a balcony off the up, and deck on the front, the waves crashing on the beach are ZEN! Clean, wonderful, rustic. Perfect ‼️ we will be back again, and again!
