We stayed in a spa room and were mighty impressed with how clean everything was. Yes rooms are a little warn but this is to be expected with a building of this age (did i mention clean). Being it was a long weekend (coupled with covid restrictions) the restaurant was fully booked for breakfast, lunch and dinner... but despite this every single staff member (from check-in to meals to drinks) went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. All meals were lovely and very well priced. Thank you

Hotel location is very good, you can see the trestle. After a few minutes, the front desk was very friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant on the first floor was a good business, and it looked very lively and didn't have time to eat. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the supermarket. Port Witt is a good stopover for the night before going to Kangaroo Island, and it takes 45 minutes to drive to the port. Very laid back, quiet town.

This place is super great 👌 we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely come back. The room was so clean and the amenities are great especially for us who had a very active 2 year old. 😊😊😊

Check in was a breeze with a super friendly receptionist. Our ocean view studio room was a great surprise - more like a small one bedroom apartment. Plenty of room for a couple....very clean and the bed was super comfortable - slept like a baby which is unlike me - the bathroom very modern with great shower pressure and an added spa bath which was great ! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this resort - we will be back .....

Top spot! Everybody talks about Goolwa but I think they should be talking about Port Elliot. We hadn’t been to the area before and were lucky to find this gem of a place to stay in an amazing location. We had a family room upstairs with a beautiful view of Horseshoe Bay. This is a nicely renovated heritage building with lovely spacious communal areas - particularly the breakfast room with morning sun and ocean views. Super well organised and well equipped kitchen with recycling best practice. Welcoming hosts, everything clean, comfy beds and can’t say enough about the 5 star views and location. This part of Port Elliot has a village atmosphere with gorgeous heritage houses and interesting shops, cafes etc so close. Also the cockle train station nearby which unfortunately wasn’t running the days we were there. Recommend the Spirit of Coorong 90 min boat trip from Goolwa to Murray mouth - for a fascinating overview of the area.

Stand alone accommodation in Beach Hut style with each hut named & coloured differently. It is a stunning setting & I can see why it would be popular for weddings & wedding parties. We spent the night in the Brighton Hut which provided a welcoming space furnished with Queen bed, TV, Microwave, cutlery & crockery, fridge, dining setting & a very comfortable 3 seater Club Lounge. No expense has been spared in these charming buildings & we can highly recommend them for their comfort, peaceful outlook, beautiful setting & attention to detail. Their staff are fantastic & are very caring & understanding. I would like to especially thank Dave from Reception who handled my call following our departure. His attitude is a credit to both himself & the Beach Huts Team. Thank you all! 🙂 👏

We stayed on the deluxe camp site and it was beautifully set up with our own private fire pit, grassed area and party lights. The site was huge and close by amenities. Unfortunately though, the soccer pitch was right next to it so we had the joy of listening to yelling kids playing soccer up to 10pm each night and had people walking through the site to access their own sites behind. It seemed like poor planning when all of the other kids playground, bouncy pillow, pool etc. were all together. It would have been a much nicer stay had the soccer pitch been placed with other entertainment. I would recommend if staying asking for the deluxe site 184 on it's own. We were at 187. Unfortunately too, though through no fault of the managements, it was awfully windy the whole time we were there. It's a great park for kids but more careful planning would benefit the deluxe sites from a noise and access perspective. Management were very friendly upon check in. More paper towel dispensers needed in the new amenities block as they ran out daily. We won't be back.

Excellent Motel. Very close to the beach. There was ample parking space at the site. The staff were friendly. The facilities at the property were good and clean. We checked in late but was all good. Lots of eateries and diners close to the property, all walking distance.highly recommend this place.
