This review is long overdue. My teenage son and I spent a couple nights in Vienna here and the room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. Excellent location for exploring the city on foot. Best of all, the concierge was absolutely incredible. My son forgot his contact lens plunger at home (of course) and we were at a loss for how to remove his hard contact lens without it. The concierge went above, beyond, and into outer space for us to find this item for us even though it was early morning and difficult to track down. They even sent someone to go purchase the item and deliver it to our room, which was so very kind of them given my unfamiliarity with the city and my son's state. I will never forget their competency and kindness, truly the best concierge I have ever encountered.

A few minutes from Santo Stefano's Basilica or the Opera House, the hotel is a nineteenth-century building in perfect neoclassical style. The rooms are suites, on two floors, with kitchen and large spaces. The furnishings of my room perhaps do not reflect the luxury that such a structure deserves. The common spaces are also quite sp****. The stay was pleasant and comfortable in all aspects, from breakfast in the room to the quality of sleep.

We were warmly welcomed - even though we arrived far too early to book in ( but it’s never too early for champagne!). The suite was well appointed and stocked and extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful but unobtrusive - assistance and service were impeccable. The food was excellent again with excellent service. A highlight for us was the historical tour of the PALAIS which was arranged for us. It was memorable.
