Thankfully, the platform helped coordinate, allowing me to check into the hotel as originally booked late at night. A very disappointing experience."

"The hotel is located around at least 5-7 mins walk to the train station, and it's located at a quite quiet part of the place. Staff were friendly, but the problem is with the design of the hotel. The hotel is still at the setting up phase, and to access to the elevator, you need to go through a door and it is co-shared with the staff. The room was okay but some of the smart function of the blinds is not working. The room i was given had to pass through 2 doors before i get to my hotel room door (so make that 3 doors), it is super inconvenient. Worse part is the door leading to the hallway was locked, so i cant access to the elevator on my floor. Luckily the stairs were accessible and I had to walk down a level just to get to the elevator to get out of the hotel. Told the staff about it and they resolved it, but the next day it was locked again. If the door to the stairs are locked, you are practically stuck and have no way to get out."

I was especially pleasantly surprised because I had often heard that service standards in Europe can sometimes feel a little less personal — even in luxury hospitality. My experience here was exactly the opposite. And a very special thank you to Jerimo — definitely one of the stars of the evening! ⭐️ Despite managing the bar on his own, he was incredibly efficient, attentive and professional. Warm, polite and genuinely engaging, yet never intrusive — exactly the balance that great hospitality requires. I also really enjoyed watching the way he interacted with the other guests and prepared the drinks and cocktails. Everything seemed effortless, even though he was clearly very busy. As someone who has worked in luxury hospitality myself, I always notice these little details — and this experience genuinely impressed me. Thank you for turning what was supposed to be “just a quick coffee” into such a lovely evening. Hotel Palais Mailberger Hof
"This was the worst hotel of our trip. It's an old building, completely shabby. The rooms are so tiny that they barely fit suitcases. They're dusty and dirty. The air conditioning is noisy, the building is old, and there's a tiny elevator attached that only fits two people, which is also used by the hotel staff. There aren't a single hook in the bathrooms, no dental supplies, no room to turn around, and it's generally uncomfortable. There's no telephone in the rooms and no connection to reception. There's no water in the room; you're offered tap water, which they pour into pitchers and leave in your room. The service is terrible. We arrived a day late due to canceled flights to Vienna—it was force majeure, and the airport in the country was closed! But they didn't refund us or offer any compensation. And when we checked out, they even told us our payment hadn't gone through, then apologized, citing a system error."
