GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay at SO/Vienna. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The included minibar was great —well-stocked with high-quality snacks and drinks. I have the cathedral view room, enjoyed very minute. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Joebelle made both check-in and check-out seamless and genuinely pleasant. The gentleman who assisted with my luggage was equally impressive—warm, attentive, and professional. The level of hospitality throughout the hotel was outstanding. I highly recommend SO/Vienna. And of course, Das Loft offers one of the most breathtaking views of the city—an absolute highlight of the stay.

LLenshyuuI stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be. The rooftop bar also offers a nice view. There's a gym and a pool downstairs too. Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good. The room had high ceilings, and the view outside the window was also pleasant. Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall). From the hotel, you can reach Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, or Hofburg Palace within 20 minutes by metro or tram. By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose). Public transport is excellent; the metro and trams are very well-developed, and they run late, pretty much covering everything you'd need. The CAT goes directly from the airport to City Park in one stop, taking only 16 minutes.

TTuanzixiaobeckyI specifically booked a room with a view, expecting to see the Belvedere Palace as advertised, but it turns out it's quite a distance away. It's also a 10-minute walk from the train station, which was particularly challenging on the second day when it snowed, as the path involves crossing several intersections. Here's a food tip: if you cross the public garden opposite the hotel, there's a fantastic restaurant. We ate there two days in a row and didn't repeat a dish. Their grilled ribs and pan-fried salmon are definitely worth trying! **Facilities:** The equipment is quite new, and both the bathroom and vanity area are spacious. **Service:** They provide sparkling water, but you have to ask the front desk for disposable toothbrushes. We realized we didn't have any after returning from the opera, but they delivered them promptly after we called, which is what you'd expect from a star-rated hotel.

GGuest UserI booked a family room for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. They don't allow an additional child. The location is very close to the main train station, and you can also walk to Belvedere Palace. There's a bus stop near Belvedere Palace that's much more convenient than taking the subway, as it goes directly to all the popular attractions in the Old Town, like the Musikverein, Karlskirche, Hofburg, museums, and City Hall… I only discovered this on the day we left! 😅 I bought a 48-hour transport pass, which felt like a better deal than the City Card, as the latter mainly offers discounts on attractions that you might not even use. With the transport pass, taking the train from the main station to the airport only costs 2.2 euros (half price for children). It takes 16 minutes to get to the airport, and even without the pass, it's not expensive – if I remember correctly, it's 2.9 euros. The hotel offers almost no service; it's mainly self-service. Housekeeping is supposedly every four days. Since we only stayed for 2 nights, it was acceptable, but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable for a longer stay.

AAnonymous UserThe tap water is clean. I stayed at the Moons hotel during my trip to Vienna and was absolutely delighted! I'd like to share my experience. **What I particularly liked:** - **Location.** The hotel is conveniently located – major attractions are within walking distance or a short public transport ride away. There are cafes and shops nearby, which is very handy. - **Cleanliness and comfort.** The rooms are impeccably clean, and the bed linen and towels are always fresh. The interior is modern and well-designed – you can feel the care taken for guests' comfort. - **Service.** The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. They answer any questions quickly, help with organizing excursions, and provide city recommendations. - **Tap water.** I especially want to highlight the water quality – it's absolutely clean, with no strange smells or tastes. You can safely drink it straight from the tap, which was a big plus for me. - **Breakfast.** The morning meal was delightful with its variety: fresh fruits, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, hot dishes – there's plenty to choose from. **Conclusion:** The Moons hotel offers an excellent combination of comfort, service, and a great location. I recommend it for both leisure and business trips. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vienna!

AAnonymous UserBesides the small kitchenette in the room, there's also a large communal kitchen available, fully equipped with all the necessary utensils. The shower has plenty of hot water. Complimentary coffee and tea are offered at the front desk. There's also a co-working space and a gym. You can use a card for the washing machine and dryer, which cost 5.5 Euros for washing and 5 Euros for drying. Just be careful not to swipe your card twice; if you're unsure, you can ask the 24-hour staff at the front desk. Also, there's a lovely ********* lady at the front desk. It would be even better if the cleanliness of the communal kitchen could be improved, for instance, emptying the trash cans twice a week, and cleaning the dishwasher, inside of the refrigerator, microwave, and toaster once a week, with proper checks to ensure the cleaning is done thoroughly.

AAnonymous UserService: The service was pretty standard, and the front desk staff was very welcoming. They even gave us freshly baked cookies. Amenities: The facilities were comprehensive. I have to complain a bit about the full-length mirror right next to the bathroom door... Several times, I tried to go to the toilet but walked right past the door, ended up in front of the mirror, and then turned right into it... One time, I literally jumped and screamed because, as I turned, someone (actually my reflection) suddenly appeared in front of me... This might just be a me-problem, an individual difference, perhaps 😂 although my husband also said he overshot the bathroom sometimes. Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. Environment: It's very close to the tram station. If you have luggage, you'll have to take a slight detour, but it's not far. Without luggage, there's a small path directly through the lawn. (The building across the street is beautiful, and with the curtains drawn, it has a unique charm.) This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during this trip, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Vienna.

TTatjana46Receptionist was amazing and was able to check me in early after an overnight train. She also gave recommendations on what to do and where to eat etc which was very helpful, as I probably wouldn’t have asked and would have been stuck for food ideas. Very kind team working there, room was lovely. Only downside was it was a bit of a trek to the city centre, but it was just round the corner from the tram line. Area felt very safe.
