"I don't know of any other hotel that is as wonderful and perfect as this. We stayed here on our honeymoon. They prepared a surprise for us, and we never had to wait in line for the cafe. The room had high ceilings, was kept clean, and we could see the Opera House from the window. Everything was perfect. There was always a doorman on hand, so we were able to start and end our day beautifully. It's located in the city center, so sightseeing is easy to do. I'd like to visit here every time we have an anniversary. Thank you so much for a wonderful time."

"Stayed for three nights, and it was super convenient to get around. Right across the street is a transport hub, making it easy to get to the airport. There's also a big shopping mall with a bubble tea shop that my kids loved. We could walk to all the main attractions, and there's a park right next door. Plus, the breakfast spread was really diverse."

"The front desk staff was really enthusiastic and great at upselling. We paid to upgrade to an executive suite on the 16th floor, and the view was absolutely stunning on a clear day. The mini-bar was refilled daily with three juices, two sparkling waters, one still water, and even chocolates and chips. The Bose Bluetooth speaker had excellent sound quality. My only complaints are that the shower in the bathroom didn't have a slope, so water tended to spill out, and the bathtub needed a wipe-down before use. Breakfast was very expensive! It was a buffet plus à la carte, and while the view was nice, you could get a similar brunch elsewhere for half the price. Service was generally good, and the front desk staff was friendly; they even gave us water when we checked out. Overall, I was quite satisfied."

"The hotel is located next to the main railway station in Vienna. You walk about 5-10 minutes from the station to the hotel. The railway station is Okish central located, but well connected to the Viennese public transport system. The hotel has a park in front, that has two restaurants inside - die kleine Steiermark and the Arsenal stüberl.. if you walk cross the park,(5-10 minutes) you will find yourself next to one of the top sights in Vienna - the Belvedere castle. there is a restaurant in the ground floor of the hotel - Eugen.. which was really empty (just one guest) when we were there.. we need to wait for the waiter for 10 minutes.. we thought already the restaurant was closed (We were there at 9pm on a Friday) anyway the food served was good. Had a flank steak. There no other shops or anything else around the hotel.. the hotel feels a kind of remote.. you need to go to the railwaystation if you need a convenient store.. What we can recommend is the roof top bar Aurora(?) directly in the 16th floor of the hotel with maybe the best view across Vienna. The rooms themself are modern and efficient.. have everything you might ask from a modern Hotel.. although the hotel is located more or less directly over the rails of the nearby railway station, we didn’t hear any traffic noises.. We didn’t expect too much when we booked the hotel.. but were happily surprised about the efficiency of the rooms.. so overall a nice stay for one night… if you look for a hotel to discover Vienna.. I would go to a more central location like in the first district or 6th with a more lively neighborhood."

"A decent hotel with a great location. However, the room cleaning was subpar. More strikingly, there are 25 beehives on the hotel roof, and a massive swarm of bees had congregated on the terrace directly under a sun umbrella. When we requested the bees be removed from the terrace, it quickly became clear that the bees were prioritized over guests. They strung us along with promises for two days while supposedly dealing with them, and even after that, a significant number of bees continued to swarm on the terrace for quite some time. This whole situation was utterly unsatisfactory and left a very poor impression of the hotel's management. We will definitely be choosing a different hotel for our next stay."

"We came to Vienna for a few days and stayed at The Grand Ferdinand. It's a majestic and beautifully designed hotel. The breakfasts are superb, and the service is excellent; the staff helps with everything and everyone is smiling. There's a pool on the 8th floor with a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is located in the center of Vienna, which is very convenient. We were very happy with our choice. We thank the hotel for the quality service, but the sink next to the bed isn't very practical."

"The hotel is centrally located in Austria and lots to see, eat, and do around this neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and one of the most accomodating I've encountered in Europe. Got upgraded on the room and it was very big, clean, and lots of amenities."

"First off, I have to say the Trip.com platform service was surprisingly excellent! They helped coordinate an early check-out due to special circumstances, and it was very efficient. Now, about the InterContinental Vienna. I'm not even going to mention the outdated facilities, tiny rooms, or inconvenient location. What really got to me was the staff – from the service personnel to the room service and the lobby bar – everyone had a cold demeanor, and they even seemed annoyed when I made a purchase. Absolutely no sense of hospitality. The breakfast? Let's just say it was barely passable; a 35-euro standard breakfast felt more like a 3.5-euro experience. It's definitely not suitable for families with children, maybe just barely for tour groups. I rarely leave reviews, but this time, I really want to warn everyone to avoid this place."

"Personally, I found it rather average. From the window opposite my room, everyone could see everything clearly, and conversely, if I didn't draw my curtains during the day, others could see me too. Upon entering, there was a sticky mess on the bar that had stuck to my room key. I contacted Ctrip customer service, and they assisted in cleaning it again. Later that evening, the hotel, probably trying to make up for my bad impression, sent me two pillowcases embroidered with my initials and a bottle of Austrian sparkling wine. Unfortunately, I had a cold and didn't touch them. I could only take the pillowcase with me because of the name on it. Those things aside, what I found most unbearable was the dim lighting in the bathroom, which was very unfriendly to women. The rooftop restaurant, however, deserves five stars!"
