"There’s only one counter for check-in, but many self check-in kiosks. However, there can be long queues at check-in time.
The room was clean, but you need to put the bedding, pillow covers, and blanket covers on yourself.
The room has two bunk beds and two single beds, and the toilet is separate from the shower room. There is also a locker inside the room.
If you are a female solo traveler, I recommend requesting a female-only room, as it’s more comfortable. I was placed in a mixed room with one man, and later that night two more men arrived. Luckily, they didn’t turn on the light, so they probably didn’t notice I was there, and I left early in the morning.
The hostel also has a luggage room where you can leave your bags after check-out."

"For the price and pitch of the accommodation, there’s too much that this “luxury hostel” gets wrong. It is a great location and being located in an IKEA is really unique and fun. The rooftop bar is exceptional. However, charging a “small fee” for bag storage is uncommon for guests of hotels and hostels - their fee of 6 euros for just 4 hours (more if you want longer) is extortionate when you think of all the people who use it. The rooms themselves look great but they have two giant lights which are very bright and easily disturb those sleeping on the top (open to the expansive roof) bunks if someone turns it on in the early morning. A flat sheet for the vinyl mattress that barely fits and easily slips off. No towel included and no fan for the showers so it quickly fills with condensation. The hooks to hang your clothes on have a giant knob that doesn’t fit the loop on most items. The kitchen doesn’t have cooking facilities, which is not a dealbreaker, but they only provide knives as cutlery. It’s all these tiny things unfortunately that accumulated and made it really inconvenient for an avid backpacker. This place is definitely more suited to young Europeans on a weekend trip from Copenhagen who are happy to pay for everything extra without thinking, but as someone living out of their backpack on a round-the-world trip, I sadly found it a very impractical stay."

"Good location in terms of being close to a train line from the airport and was close to a really large fairground which was cool. About 30min walk from the centre which wasn’t too bad but not central in a sense.
Hotel was nice and room was good. Shower was in the room which we didn’t mind. Would book again as we enjoyed our stay. Staff at the counter were helpful and welcoming which was really nice which is always a big plus."

"The location of the hotel is really impeccable. The U4 subway station is a 2-minute walk away. It is very convenient to get in and out. Within a 10-minute walk, you can reach a street full of restaurants.
The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. They are already familiar with the guests as soon as they arrive. All check-in information has been prepared and a map of Vienna is provided. The attitude is perfect💯
The front desk also provides 24-hour service, but I worry about not being able to find staff at night.
The room is well-equipped and the toilet is clean and separated into wet and dry areas. Very comfortable.
What’s commendable is that there are so many hangers! A two-person room can have at least 6-7 hangers per person! There are even two wardrobes and plenty of space for shelves.
The room has a terrace and windows that can be opened and closed at any time. It is not afraid of being heated and there is no air leakage when closed.
Only the plug locations are only on one side of the bed and under the TV. You have to open the curtains near the bed to find out.
Breakfast is normal. There is not too much or too little food. The overall experience is full marks."

"We were very pleased. The hotel is modern, with friendly staff and a pleasant, fresh renovation. The location is worth mentioning separately: although the hotel is not in the very center, transport accessibility is excellent - getting to the key places of the city is not difficult.
The only downside is the lack of grocery stores nearby, and a kettle in the room was sorely missed.
Otherwise, the hotel left only positive emotions, I recommend it!"

GGuest UserDecent hostel in a good location.
I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Room was very spacious for 6 beds. Each person has a locker and in their bunk bed a safe and fan unit. You are given the sheets to make your own bed. Only minor negative was being on the top bunk, the fan unit is at the top of the steps to climb onto the bed, so sometimes you knock into it when getting on and off the ladder from your bed.
Location was good…the Nachsmarkt is right in front of the hostel, there’s a grocery store next door and a tube station 2 minute walk away. I just walked into the centre each day as it only took 15 minutes to walk into the hustle and bustle of the museums and main shopping street.
The hostel hosts a quiz night, karaoke night and also offers free walking tours on a couple days of the week.
Overall great stay at Wombats.

SS88XXFOur 2 nights stay was as pleasant as it can get. Primarily designed for students but we had no problem spending our nights there. All basic amenities were there, non air conditioning but window could be opened and their was a pedestal fan. We dont like A/C so it was perfectly fine for us. Toilet needed a bit upgrade which the hotel says due in Jan 2024. Our double room had 1 extra bed and was quite spacious. Recommended.

Lleonard- The check-in process is a bit tedious. Like in airports, there are machines to self-checkin, but there are many but there are many information to provide (you can do it online, but I never do).
- Located a bit far from the Westbanhof (1 statiok + a few minutes walk or 15min walks from the station). Wien is not a dangerous place, but compared to A&O Haufptbahnof, it's a bit different :)
- Prices changes are relatively stable, compared to A&O Haufptbahnof.
- The rooms are tidy and very large. You use a key card to enter your room. However, the inside of a bed IS well designed, in which you are not directly exposed to sunlight/room lights
- You have to make your bed, which is a bit annoying.
- Towels are provided, as well as soap/shower gel and a hair dryer.
- The main entrance is easy to locate, parking near and large reception/ bar inside.
- There is a storage room, you ask for the keys at the reception and there are cameras, which is good

GGuest UserFirst time living in a space capsule. There is adequate space inside and is generally clean. However, the power is inconsistent and the light often flickers inside the capsule. Also can get quite noisy if the capsule above/below you is occupied, there is practically no sound insulation.
The location of the hostel is okay, as it is a 10-minute walk from Prater station.

JJ.K. of Juan JourneyMy stay was great but it was a bit disturbed because first, during my stay I woke up in the middle of the night as someone was using a blow dryer at 12mn, I know it's a common area but you should have rules like quiet time from 10pm-6am. Like the other hostels, it's a sign of respect. Second, other guests came quite late and tried to look for their rooms. They're banging one capsule room saying that they booked that room, the other guests called the owner to double check and it lasted for 10-15 mins. Other than those encounters, everything was okay.

GGuest UserClose to an U-bahn station, there are several stores nearby (Billa, Spar, ...). The sockets were few and quite far away from the bed, so remember to take an extension cord! Also, you're only given a small soap at the sink (but there is a big shampoo+bodywash bottle in the bathroom). No hairdryer.
Overall, a very nice experience, the staff were great, the lounge zone is a pretty cool addition too!

BBuchiyudetangThe whole is relatively clean, the room is small, but the facilities are complete, send an email in advance to inform the way to enter the room, it is very easy to find. The public toilet is large and the hot water is good. The only fly in the ointment is the poor sound insulation. The house facing the street is always a ghost and a teenager comes out to blow the street at night, which is very noisy.

The small apartment had a slightly uncomfortable bed, but the bathroom had excellent shower pressure and temperature.
We were slightly inconvenienced upon arrival because the room we had been assigned smelled of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The cleaning staff was going to clean it again, but we asked if we could move. They immediately moved us to a slightly smaller room, but we were better served.
The kitchen in the new room didn't work; one burner wasn't working, and the other was even broken.
But since we had already moved in and only noticed it late at night, we didn't want to ask them again. There was no Wi-Fi.
The staff was very friendly and quick.
