Just wanna share my experience of staying in this beautiful hotel.
1- The location and the views from the hotel are just amazing! Especially during sunsets!
2- The personal and stuff of the hotel are super super friendly, if I could I would give 10 stars for the hospitality.
3- Onsens and the view are something out from this world
4- What I was really amazed is the kitchen and the chef that is cooking. If you stay in this hotel I highly recommend take the breakfast and dinners. You will have a high class food with a presentation and explanation of each dish by the servant. Best experience
5- Last but not the least I forgot my speaker in the hotel. The stuff brought it back the same day to me to another hotel I moved after NISHIHOPPO.
So guys, less words more actions! 10 stars to this amazing hotel and it’s owner. My respect.

Love this ryokan! The service was just amazing! We arrived the ryokan feeling cold and asked where we could get some heat pads and was told that since the ryokan provides free shuttle to train station, they could send us to convenient store. And before it, the staff came back with some mini heat pads for us to use for the meanwhile. There was also paid shuttle to snow monkey park (500 yen per pax one way) that you can arrange with them. We had a tatami room, it was spacious and the staff came to the room to do the check in and served tea and welcome snack to us. The ryokan guests are entitled to go to nine onsens around the area for free. The ryokan provides yukatas and all necessities for it. The meals were sumptuous and super yummy. Overall, a fantastic ryokan experience for us!

Wow!
An amazing little Ryoukan in a lovely town with fantastic owners.
This ryoukan is a traditional old fashioned style with a lovely private onsen in pictures
The room was large and your right on top of one of the 9 onsens.
As a ryoukan in the town you will have access to the 9 healing onsens which you can use at your leisure and complete the denyouko towel for blessings
The onsen is run by a lovely lady who is really friendly.
Typical Amenities included plus free yukata and geta to borrow whilst your walking between hot springs plus free cold milk which is just heavenly after a hot soak. Honestly the cold milk really made my day!! 🥰
Air conditioning was very effective considering the size of the room and the breakfast was too much to finish and offered a taste of everything
Lastly you are on top of the onsens as soon as you step out and monkey park is a 25 minute walk north but talk with the Owner, she has a link to the Monkey security cameras so can tell you ahead of time if theres any up there to see currently (i went during Estrus season so no monkeys for me)
When it came to checkout the lady gave me a small bento of Onigiri and Pastries and even drove me down to the local station
10/10 would stay again

The price is super good, breakfast and dinner are included, the boss staff are very kind, will talk to the parents again, you can ski in out , The hotel will have an old driver's hand car to help you park. The hotel isolation is a cable car ticket shop. The scenery is very beautiful. You can soak in the hot springs when you return to the hotel. Dobby will have a drink. There are a few like Japanese club meds,
And the hotel decoration ring is made up of flowers on the top of the mountain, very thoughtful! And Shiga Yuxue is really thick and slippery!

The reality exceeded my expectations; the hotel was even better than I imagined. The room was very comfortable for a family with a small child! There's a private hot spring for families available by reservation, though the usage time is a bit short, it's still great overall! The food is high-quality, delicious, and varied. It's also possible to extend your stay for 1000 yen per hour, which is super convenient when traveling with a child. The hotel corridors aren't perfectly clean due to age, but the room itself is clean and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shiga Kogen Sunvalley hotel. It's only a 20 mins bus ride from the Snow Monkey Park. The bus stop (S15) is about 100m away but when it's heavily snowing, it could be a little difficult to pull your luggage across the road. During the winter season, there's a free shuttle bus that takes you around the different resorts. The hotel also has ski rentals and the pricing is very reasonable and convenient for hotel guests to pickup and drop-off. The onsite onsen and sauna is clean and well maintained. We had breakfast included - food selection is good with a mix of Western and Japanese cuisine. Dinner required reservation and you have a choice of Japanese set course, or a casual course. Usui and the team really know how to provide great hospitality and we really enjoyed our stay.

It was cheap and very good!
What particularly impressed me was that the front desk staff greeted me with a smile until I left, and were polite and kind in explaining things to foreign guests. I felt very at ease ❤️

Stayed in Japanese style room. Plenty big enough for three. Pillows were rock hard but futons comfy. No english channels on tv.
Shared bath house which was great. Stayed start April so most restaurant and shops shut, very little choice.
Had buffet breakfast at hotel which had good variety . would recommend hotel if you can pick up a deal.
straight across the road from inchiose skifield but very limited lifts open and actually walked about 15 minutes down the road to other fields with a lot more lifts running. As spring we were able to catch chairlift for free to then ski down to gondola to buy lift tickets. Good skiing on Olympic courses.

Wonderful hotel and experience. We came in offseason (April) but still had a good dusting of snow. So conveniently located next to Ichinose Family Ski Area and have everything you need right on property (rentals, lockers, restaurant, store, onsen). Food in the restaurant was very tasty and high quality and you can eat as much as you want.
Room had a nice view of the slope and was comfortable once dialing in the heater settings.
Undoubtedly best part of the hotel was the staff though. So friendly and accommodating. I sustained an injury early in the trip and they could not be more helpful and accommodating.
Look forward to returning.

Easy to go to Giant Ski Area because there is a slope to ski area directly. But I don't recommend for beginner to go ski area from this slope. And you can't go back to the hotel from this way, you have to go back by gondola to Yamanoeki and walk 300m. Too far if you walk with skies or snowboard.
Yukata is not free of charge, you have to pay 300 yens for rent. There is a shower room in your room but you can't use it because there is ONLY cold water(hot water doesn't work).
Some breakfast menu is not enough for customers. But dinner is ok.
