Wonderful place. 4* hotel with 5* experience, and extremely decent price. Perfect location, only few minutes from center, tram and metro station just next to the hotel. The rooms are cozy and clean. They even have… guitar amplifier. A lot of place to relax inside the hotel, free tea in library, and smart “maxi bar”, where you can buy everything necessary. Tasty breakfast. Overall we had a very good experience. We stayed in the family apartment. The good: 1. Very good value for money 2. Great location with easy access to public transportation 3. Good breakfast 4. Very large and spacious room. 5. Good sound isolation, our room was on a low for facing a busy street and we could hardly hear a sound from the outside. A few things that could be improved: 1. We arrived late and the sofa bed was not made, we had to ask for sheets and make it ourselves. 2. The wait time for the elevators was often too long. 3. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower. 4. The quality of the pillows was low. 5. The door in the breakfast area was kept open and we could smell the cigarette smoke from outside during breakfast. 6. The room overall seems a little dated and in need of some maintenance.

Positively to mention is the excellent location near a train (Westbahnhof) and subway station. Our stay was from 31.12.2022 to 03.01.2023. Room was a little small for 3 people, but we didn't spend much time in there anyway, except for sleeping. Room was not cleaned at the first day. Went down to the reception and was told that 10 cleaning ladies didn't show up on the first day of the new year. No apologies, but at least received new towels. Management seems to be uninspired. In other hotels have received a bar voucher or bonus points/credits upon such lack of service. Second day the housekeeping staff issue was still not solved as I heard more customer complaining about untidy rooms at the reception. Upon check-out again no question about if we have been satisfied with our stay neither a goodbye! Only the breakfast service team did a great job in cleaning and arranging free tables and filling up the buffet items despite the hotel seemingly been fully booked.

This is a charming hotel just 2 blocks from the nearest subway stop (though Vienna is a very walkable and safe city, so I often bypassed it to walk anyway). Coffee/tea/hot chocolate is available for free throughout the day and evening, along with tea. Front desk is manned 24/7 with friendly helpful English speaking staff. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very comfortable, with strong air conditioning that can be individually adjusted. Elevators are a bit confusing as there are two sets, one for one section of rooms and one for a different one (and one cannot use them interchangeably) but once you get used to that, it's not an issue. There is also an outdoor seating area, presumably used by smokers I imagine since the entire hotel is nonsmoking indoors. I had no problems here at all except a hair dryer that didn't work, so the front desk loaned me another one. It's a good value for Vienna. I would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Let's break down my experience into two parts. First part is the utter lack of customer service presented by the hotel manager and the second part will be the room/hotel itself. I showed up on a Thursday night with my two teenagers for a 3 night stay. The manager asked why we had two rooms. I let him know we only had one room and showed him my printed reservation. He said that there were two reservations and that I had made a mistake and must pay for both rooms. He literally said it just like that. I explained that it must be a mistake, I never received an email confirmation of any kind so would have had no way of knowing that the website had booked two reservations. He said it was my fault and that I must have deleted the emails. Since I was in a foreign country and wanted to move past the mixup, I offered to pay the first night and asked him to rent out the room for the next two nights. Given it was a weekend in Vienna and that his hotel was sold out, I thought that was a good compromise. He agreed. Well, the short story is he rented the room out for Friday and Saturday at 40% of what I paid and said I would have to pay the difference plus the entire first night. We had a lively conversation about his lack of customer service, his unwillingness to compromise in any way, and his desire to blame me for the mistake. After about 15 minutes of this, he said that if I didn't pay this amount he would charge me for the full reservation cost of all 3 nights. Needless to say, it was a ridiculous interaction and horrible. So if you choose to stay at this hotel, just know that any mix up (your fault or not) will be blamed on you. As far as the hotel. The only thing going for it is it's location. Right on the main shopping street. The rooms are insanely small, even by European standards, the bathroom is about 6ft x 4ft, and the decor is old. It really is a 2-3 start hotel at best. Also, I booked my room in advance directly on the hotel website and the cost appears to have been considerably more than what you could reserve via Kayak or TripAdvisor, etc. So in conclusion the manager was terrible, deceptive, greedy, inflexible, and lacking integrity. The hotel itself was okay with it's primary benefit being it's location. Good Luck!

Home hotel facing one north side street of Maria Hillfer Street, crowded with local shoppers. About 5 minutes walk from Neubaugasse station on U-burn 3. The Stiftgasse stop of the tram is also about 3 minutes walk. The entrance had a staircase like the entrance of the apartment, and it was a little confused, but the kind male staff responded politely at the small front desk. Receive a room key with classic weight and enter the room on the upper floor by a small elevator, it is larger than expected, and the bathroom with the bathtub is not new, but there is a feeling of cleanliness and long stay It is also suitable for staying. Members of the orchestra seem to stay well from neighboring countries and cities. Breakfast is a compact but substantial buffet style with a dedicated dining. It seemed that there were many family travelers from Japan for three days we stayed. There are many famous cafes and restaurants nearby, and there are department stores and supermarkets, and above all, it is a good hotel in Cospa where the location is good to go to the Art History Museum on foot!

Carpool directly from the town of ck to this hotel, the hotel is on a commercial street, but most shops close at 8 o'clock. When walking around at night, I found that it was not far from the Vienna West Railway Station. Convenient transportation, downstairs is the U3 subway station, only stayed one night, the rest is unknown

Location Location Location The staff is a little stand offish but this place is very close to Mariahilstrasse (spelling?) where you can catch the awesome public transportation system to go anywhere you like at cheap fares. Shopping and restaurants galore. Except for soap, this hotel does not provide any bath amenities so bring your own. Breakfast never changes--the same everyday and moderately priced.
