The hotel is very close to the railway station, and also very close to the bus station. The surrounding area is very convenient, and it is very fast to go out to the center of the city. The room is also very clean and tidy, the room environment is very good

Wir waren über ein verlängertes Wochenende im Senator Hotel. Die Lage ist gut (zwar an einer großen Straße, aber nicht laut) die öffentlichen Anbindungen auch. Gebucht wurde ein Family XXL Zimmer, das angenehm groß (2 Doppelbetten, Badezimmer mit Badewanne & WC) und sauber ist. Der LED TV ist praktischerweise in beide Richtungen schwenkbar. Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig, der Kaffee sehr schmackhaft. Der Speisesaal ist funktionell - wenn einmal eine größere Gruppe da ist, kann es etwas laut werden, aber das ist in den meisten Lokalen so. Sonderwünsche wurden sowohl bei der Buchung als auch vor Ort zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt (early check-in, Garagenplatz länger nutzen als geplant, etc.). Die Mitarbeiter waren durchwegs freundlich und kompetent.

ho soggiornato con amici presso la struttura e tutti ci chiediamo come possa essere un 4 stelle. Al momento del nostro arrivo alle ore 13.30 ci viene detto che la camera sarà pronta alle ore 15. Noi desiderosi di lasciare i bagagli e rinfrescarci optiamo per un pranzo al volo e torniamo in hotel alle 15.10. Ci viene detto che le due camere non sono ancora disponibili e veniamo invitati a fare un giro in centro nel mentre (come dire qui va per le lunghe). Senza nemmeno chiederci scusa. Durante la notte non c'è nessuno in reception e la porta è sempre aperta. In generale pulizia camere scarsa, moquette polverosa. Ma il colmo è la mattina seguente: dato che avevo letto che alle volte le camere non venivano rifatte, faccio presente in reception che eravamo usciti dalla camera e che quindi era possibile pulirla. Vengo rassicurato dicendomi che tutte le camere vengono sempre pulite. Al rientro guarda caso la camera NON è stata pulita, imbarazzante. Al check out faccio presente la cosa e ci dicono che la pulizia è affidata ad una società esterna ma anche qui niente scuse.

Lovely hotel close to public transport as it is outside of the city center. We had a large corner twin room with nice size bathroom and comfortable beds. Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast was typical. Very nice budget friendly hotel that I would recommend.

I stayed in this hotel with my family during the Easter break. The hotel is located 20 mins from the city centre but there is a tram station close to the hotel. The room is poorly lit and provide only thick blanket with no extra pillows. The hotel mentions air-conditioning in the description but they provide AC only during June to September. I believe they should have mentioned it clearly upfront. The hotel is on the busy street and so it was not possible to keep the window open during night time as we were initially given a room on the lower floor. We felt quite hot in the room and Beatrice the staff moved us to the higher floor next day where it was possible to keep the window s open without the noise. Overall it was pretty average and didn't feel like a 4 star property and the price we paid. I would have given it 2/5 but the extra 1 is only for Beatrice who helped us with the room.

It was quiet even though our room faced the main street. There is easy access to the centre using tramway 43 which stops close to the hotel, or tramway 9 just around the corner. Good bakeries and restaurants nearby. We never bought the breakfast at the hotel as it was quite expensive (22 euros/person on the spot or 15 euros/person if you prebook).
Overall a pleasant stay at a reasonable price, considering the location and amenities.
