Hotel Pension Excellence

It was terrible. This cannot be 4 star hotel- may be fit 2 star or 2.5 star category. WiFi lousy, TV signal was terrible, lobby was max 12 sq meter and the photo on the website is deceiving. It was very warm on the first night but the owner had kept all the remotes with him. The staff suggested to open window but the room was facing main road and thus very noisy for the entire night. On the 2nd night, the owner offered a small fan. Break fast is not worth €14/person. The owner was not contactable on the first night. Also there is only 1 staff at the reception, which is on the 2nd of the building. With all these problems, how can this be a 4 star hotel. I am planning to write to Austria Hotel association to review the star rating of this hotel.

The staff at check in was so low energy and didn’t acknowledge our presence when we arrived and stood at the desk waiting. They didn’t say hi or ask us any questions. They just continued to converse amongst themselves across the desk we were standing at and didn’t look at us for a while. It seemed like we burdened them by even coming to check in. They didn’t offer much information about the stay or check in process without us having to ask.  The room was basically ok but the bathroom pipes smelled like sewage so kept the bathroom door shut.

Excellent service. We loved the hospitability. Staff is very friendly. Great food.

Nice place overall, the fridge doesn’t work and the AC is half workinf

- Dirty room - Air-conditioning didn't work and despite my reclamation nobody would fix it - Nice and polite feminine personnel - the pillows and blankets were dirty, as well as the sofa-bed All and all it was ok, especially the connections to city centre worked well.
