Access to this highly unsatisfactory "hotel" is through an electrically lockable manhole, requiring assistance from the owner. Navigating the acrylic glass spiral staircase is another adventure. The entire property is built from misused components with the sauna, the only functioning amenity, nearly causing an injury. The lighting is flawed, triggered erratically by motion detectors. I chose this property primarily for the roof terrace as a smoker. Upon arrival, a non-English speaking lady welcomed me. She struggled with my suitcase and the slow, failing elevator. The apartment was disappointingly akin to a swinger's club, with inadequate lighting and dubious cleanliness. The bathroom emitted a peculiar smell and had an inconveniently placed toilet on the gallery. The kitchen, a greasy, sloping niche, housed a subpar Nescafe machine, and minimal refreshments in the minibar. I decided not to stay a second night and requested a refund from the uncooperative owner who eventually charged my credit card, which I consider fraudulent.

My suite Playground at House of Time was amazing! I felt as if it was the best version of my own home! The sense of details is truly everywhere. There are real work of arts in every room, the decoration is uniquely luxurious, the bed is slightly inclined for better blood circulation (first time I ever experience this in a hotel!), the breakfast service is wonderful. I was offered a full bottle of wine for my birthday. It was just perfect: everything is unique in this hotel. I highly recommend!

Tutto è cosi perfetto! Se poi pensi che la mattina invece di lavarti e vestirti ti puoi godere la colazione, servita in modo eccellente con prodotti di qualità, in vestaglia...cosa vuoi di più dalla vita?! Il letto poi..... una favola! E che dire dell'accoglienza?: "Super" Questo non è un albergo è "OLTRE"!

Ideal location only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Vienna. The hotel is in front of a local market which offers a variety of food and drink options. We stayed in the playground suite. Despite it being the smallest suite available it was still a generous size for two people. The bed was huge! As was the sofa. There was a small (free!) mini bar filled with Coca Cola, beer, tonic and wine. This was refilled daily, as were multiple bottles of water. The best by far was the breakfast. Each day you select what you would like to eat: croissants, meats, cheese, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs etc etc, and it is brought to your room where you can eat in peace. All of it is expertly prepared and presented. The tv is dated and it was difficult to get the Apple TV to work. But other than that it everything was perfect.

House of time is a feast for the eyes and senses. A surprise five star plus experience at reasonable prices. Tomas and his delightful wife are hosts at this wonderful place and were incredibly accomodating.Nothing was too much trouble . Taxis ,restaurant booking even hot milk for my coffee. Breakfasts were first class and beautifully presented . Close to the centre without all the tourist hustle and bustle. We loved our 5 day stay here . Clean spacious and quiet . Stay here .
