Easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever experienced. It's old school rather than ostentatious and all the better for it. Our room was exceptional in a variety of ways (two sinks and clever lighting in the bathroom, for example - but I could go on), the location was superb, but most impressive of all was the the staff. Every interaction was a joy. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Vienna such an unforgettable experience. Whoever drives recruitment in this hotel deserves a very impressive salary.

We really like this hotel. It is brilliantly well located, and exudes an atmosphere of a relaxed way of life from an earlier time. All the staff seem genuinely happy to meet clients and to serve their needs. The breakfast choices are wide and the breakfast area is very nice. The public areas are delightful and our rooms have always been perfect.

以前より気になっていたホテルだったが、今回3泊お世話になりました。静かで、中庭も美しく伝統のある建物は古き良きヨーロッパの趣でいう事なしでした。娘のトランクがロストとなり、翌日も女性スタッフの方が航空会社に何度も電話をしてくれた。(つながらなかったですが）真摯な対応に感謝です。(その翌日、無事届きましたが) 朝食も美味しく、食堂のスタッフさんも明るく笑顔の対応で、とても感じよかったです。色々ありがとうございました。また泊まってみたいホテルです。

シュテファン大聖堂のすぐ近くに位置し、買い物にも移動にもとにかく立地が良いです。地下鉄の駅もStephansplazとStubentorの2駅を利用でき大変便利です。
ダブルベッドルームに宿泊しましたが、伝統のあるホテルにふさわしく、部屋はクラシカルな雰囲気で広く、洗面台が二つあるので譲り合う必要がなく快適でした。ベッドメーキングの際には毎日チョコレートが枕の上に置いてあり、とてもうれしかったです。クリスマスマーケットの時期だったためか、ある日はクリスマス仕様の袋にぎっしりとナッツやチョコが詰まったものがテーブルに置かれていて、とても感激しました。
朝食のビュッフェは、カイザーゼンメルをはじめパンの種類も多く、毎日おいしくいただきました。朝から大好きなホットチョコレートを飲むことができて元気がでました。
何よりもスタッフの方々の笑顔が大変すばらしかったです。レストランの女性の笑顔は本当に素敵で心が和みました。また、フロントのスタッフの方々も大変親切で感じが良く、部屋のキーを受け取る時には私たちの顔を覚えていてくださり、部屋番号を言う必要が無いほどでした。午前中にいらっしゃった若い女性のスタッフは、予約がとりづらいレストランの予約をしてくださったり、チェックアウトの時には「残念！」とおっしゃってくださったり、ホスピタリティーあふれる方でした。
一つだけ残念だったのは、トイレに手を洗うところがなく、部屋を通って洗面所まで行かなくてはならなかったことです。しかし、これは本当に小さな欠点だと思います。
次回ウィーンを訪れる際にも、ぜひこちらのホテルを利用したいと思います。

I think KVU is the best kept secret in Vienna. The location is so convenient and the staff is so amazing.Very nice breakfast, I have been coming here for about 30 years and never been disappointed.

Hotel in historic building. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice bar and lounge but restaurant no longer open. Perfect location in city center. Only minutes from main square and cathedral and subway train station.
Shower is located inside the bathtub and is not ideal for older guests.

My wife, sister-in-law and I booked the Penthouse Suite at the Hotel Konig von Ungarn over Christmas. It was a truly special stay! The location could not have been better--just steps away from Stephansdom and the Graben, and within easy walking distance to every part of the Innere Stadt. The hotel itself was truly old world--in the very best way. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were all truly wonderful! (And the breakfast was amazing!) I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for truly personal and authentic Austrian hospitality. Sincerest thanks to everyone at KVU for a truly memorable Christmas!
