The hotel is in a good location. It only takes about half an hour to get here from the high-speed rail station. The front desk staff can communicate in Chinese and it is also convenient to go to Foreigner Street.

Decent hotel in between the airport and downtown. A bit smoky smelling in the elevator and the hallways with a lingering odor in the room. WiFi was not the best, streaming was spotty. The restaurant was good with a large selection of Chinese food. The nearby temple sounded the drums and gong early in the morning and several times throughout the day. Even though the front desk had to be reminded of the type of room booked the service was okay.

There is a beautiful view of the Mekong River and the lights of Nong Khai, Thailand on the opposite bank. Breakfast was average, and the noodles were like nyumen, which I liked. It was disappointing that the coffee was instant. Well, it was good value for money.

At check-in, I had to wait for a while to confirm my reservation. I booked a double room, but I stayed in a twin room for the first night. The manual for using the in-room safe was incorrect, making it difficult to set it up, and very few staff members understood it. The room is on the 6th floor.
All of them were on the 5th floor. Also, I was disappointed that there was no juice for breakfast. The only drinks I had were coffee, tea, and water 😔 On the positive side, the beef noodles were very delicious 😁
