We have stayed in many chateau’s in France and this is the worst we have ever stayed in. The room was terrible, small with tiny bathroom and a carpet we didn’t want to walk on !! The restaurant was expensive and not worth the money. To receive a bill for 1 night stay of 322 euros each couple was unbelievable.

Excellent place to stay. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast perfectly adequate and eaten in lovely room . Restaurant in building in garden but very very good. Charming building and beautiful grounds.

Impressive house outside in its own grounds in a lovely, very small village. The house had been converted so there was little character downstairs. We were in chambre 4 on the ground floor. It was clean and simply furnished. The two-way lighting switch just inside the door didn't work, so we felt our way in the dark to find the bedside lights. There was a small table lamp but there was no overhead light and so the room was very dimly lit. The toilet/shower room had been modernised but the sink and overflow needed a drop of bleach. Breakfast was a selection of jams, breads, mini croissants.

Great stay. The Chateau and gardens are perfect to relax and disconnect. You feel at home. Many things to do around. The staff is very nice and helpful, always smiling. The restaurant is just delicious. Highly recommended!

Stayed here a Sunday night. Chateau tired looking and grounds very unkempt, no one to meet us and all public areas were locked. We knew the restaurant would be closed and we would be left a cold meal in our fridge but we were led to believe when we booked that the bar would be open. Our meal consisted of a tasteless chicken terrine, a few slices of chicken on couscous and a panacotta (which was the best bit of the meal). All had to be eaten from the plastic containers that contained the food - no plates. No corkscrew provided so couldn’t even have a glass of wine. To cap it all a barely warm shower the following morning. Very poor.

Wonderbox box with one night, a meal at the restaurant and breakfast. Positive points: the welcome from the hotel or restaurant staff, the meal as well, the relaxing environment. Negative point, the 80s carpet in the room is just not possible, it's completely wrong with the value for money. The shower for tall people is not very practical but it still works. I will return to the restaurant with pleasure.

Disappointing hotel and restaurant! At the restaurant, the waiter showed his annoyance upon greeting and when we announced that we were not taking a menu. After ordering the meal, the wine and a bottle of sparkling water, we noticed that it was not fresh: the waiter then told us that it is normal to serve a bottle of water at room temperature! !!! We still ask for ice cubes which again causes an annoyed attitude. The oysters ordered are served piled high with no ice, no lemon, and no butter for the bread. The shallot vinegar is served in advance directly on the oysters (too bad for anyone who doesn't like shallot vinegar and would have preferred lemon)!!!! At the hotel, room no. 5 has a tiny bathroom and, icing on the cake, the morning shower is cold: at reception, we were told, when we left, that we should have left the water running. water much longer. The breakfast is miserable: too hard baguette, bacon and sausages served without an omelette....The tea is offered in a teapot to choose yourself: none of the teapots are clean!!! The coffee served from the machine is barely hot. When we leave, vigilance is required because the final calculation of the bill is not correct. Last remark: it rained a lot between our arrival and our departure. You needed boots to enter the restaurant and the hotel: some adjustments might be necessary! In short, once, not twice!

We used a smartbox received as a gift and chose to pay 1 supplement in order to benefit not from 1 standard room but from 1 comfort room. We were disappointed with the quality of the rooms although clean, they did not deserve a special classification !! Rather just ordinary... The so-called gastronomic experience was more than disappointing: the products were probably frozen (mediocre sea bream cevicce, rubbery sirloin...) the staff was however pleasant and the breakfast was very decent served in a charming setting . To summarize, it was nothing exceptional.

Excellent stay with a very very friendly and dynamic team..we eat very well there it is very good the waiter Alexis is very friendly as is his colleague Virginie.. The room is clean we sleep well.. The breakfast is plentiful thank you maeva Elodie at reception is attentive and helpful The castle and the setting are beautiful, it's calm and it doesn't make you want to leave..

Welcoming and very pleasant staff!!! We had dinner for Valentine's Day and slept very well there. The meal was excellent and the family atmosphere. I highly recommend coming and staying there. 😊😊 We spent a very nice Valentine’s Day evening there 💌

Very beautiful building in a green, very quiet setting. Room a bit rustic but clean and having at least one chair would have been appreciated. We had dinner at the Closerie restaurant which was excellent. Stay with Smartbox, very warm welcome, and well-respected services. We will come back with pleasure. THANKS.

Hotel in a very green, quiet location. Good welcome, smiling and attentive staff. Special mention to Inès, a very pleasant woman, attentive and very professional! Our room, located on the second floor (no elevator...): GOOD BEDDING! which remains essential in a hotel!!! The decor needs to be redone, tired carpet, wallpaper "from another age"... functional bathroom but: the sink tap was poorly installed or wrong model... which means that when the water flows it's one centimeter from the overflow... 😁 when washing, there are a lot of projections on the mirror, note that the "emptying" is not done very well... the shower bath, equipped with a glass wall is not waterproof, so there too water flows onto the floor. There is a hair dryer as well as a magnifying mirror and soap and shower gel available. Cleanliness: correct. Breakfast: copious. For the restaurant La Closerie: no review because we didn't go there because it was a very busy day. Overall: pleasant stay but next time we will ask (if possible) for a redone room on the first floor. Note that there are animals roaming free, rabbits and chickens. The day we left, one of the rabbits had died under a yew... you should know that yew is extremely toxic for animals... I think this rabbit had the bad idea of ​​tasting it, which which was fatal to him...
