Il Manyatta camp è un sogno ad occhi aperti. Dalla nostra tenda abbiamo visto leoni, elefanti, antilopi. Chi si lamenta degli insetti e degli animali mi chiedo che cosa ci va a fare in Africa e soprattutto a fare un Safari. La savana al tramonto non ha prezzo. Porterò questo posto nel cuore.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier im Rahmen einer Gruppensafari und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein kleines Zeltcamp ohne lange Wege, ohne luxeriöse Ausstattung im Zelt, aber für eine Nacht absolut akzeptabel. Toll ist natürlich der Pool auf der Terrasse, perfekt um nach dem staubigen Tag im Jeep zu entspannen und die Natur zu bewundern, das war wirklich super, für uns und natürlich für das Kind! Wunderschön fanden wir auch den Restaurantbereich, von hier aus hat man einen tolle. Blick in die Savanne, bei uns war immer ein Elefant anwesend. Das Essen war gut, der Service immer freundlich und engagiert, die Preise für Getränke wirklich günstig. Für uns das beste Hotel auf der Safari und wir würden es wieder buchen.

The review of this hotel is very divided. The pool was nice, and an extra plus for a small pool to each cabin. You really felt like you were in the middle of the jungle -both in a positive and in a negative way. The cabins didnt have air condition, but they had a fan, so the temperature was allright. The cabins were however not quite insect proof, and we had several unwanted visitors in our room, and I would never step on the floor without shoes as there were many ants on the floor. There was a large mosquitonet over the bed, so by tucking it neatly under the mattress, I managed to sleep quite well. Nice to be able to sit in the restaurant overlooking elephants and other animals from the national park near by. Dont expect luxury, but the food was good.

Se vuoi dormire tra insetti e lucertole di ogni tipo è il posto giusto. Sentirai tutti i rumori della savana e dovrai stare attento solo ai serpenti, scimmie e leopardi. La cena e la colazione la servono a buffet fino ad esaurimento merce. Il resto è tutto extra

Il lodge è strategicamente posto vicino al Voi Gate dello Tsavo, con leopardi che girano nelle vicinanze. Come in tutti i camp la notte è pervaso dalle 'voci' degli animali, per cui se si ha il sonno leggero è difficile dormire, ma di solito si arriva stanchi dopo il safari. Le tende sono piuttosto 'vissute' (almeno quella dove abbiamo alloggiato), con pavimenti e pareti scrostate e mobilio abbastanza vecchio e limitato. Questo porta ad avere insetti vari nella tenda, anche tenendo sempre tutto chiuso, ma è un fenomeno presente anche in lodge più blasonati. Come in tutti i safari occorre quindi un minimo di adattabilità. Carino il patio con piscina esterno, ma anche qua abbastanza 'vissuto'. Cibo buono anche se la varietà è piuttosto limitata, ma per una notte va più che bene. Bella la sala da pranzo sopraelevata da cui si vede parte del parco e con piscina annessa. In conclusione sufficiente il rapporto qualità/prezzo, ma le tende avrebbero bisogno di una risistemata e/o riammodernamento.

We stayed here for three nights. Our "tent" faced the park and we had lovely views of the animals on their way to the water hole at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The "tents" were not really tents but lodges with a tent roof. The layout of the bathroom was odd with a separate shower and toilet and a wash basin in the room. The bed was quite hard but the pillows were good. The pool on the tents patio was fantastic and it was great to cool off in there and watch the animals going by at the same time. There is a footpath from Manyatta to Voi WL so you can walk through and visit the waterhole there. The food was OK , perfectly edible and plenty of it. The staff were all lovely, especially the man at the bar whose name we unfortunately forget. He was very funny! The packed lunches we had were superb! The best we have had anywhere. We will definitely return here for our next Tsavo trip

Peccato non essere riusciti a godersi la piscina per il brutto tempo, camere con piscina privata belle e caratteristiche, la notte siamo stati svegliati dal verso di un elefante, esperienza indimenticabile. Inoltre bellissimo vedere l’alba e tutte quelle stelle

Stupendo. Cibo buono. Tenda enorme e dotata di tutti i confort tranne l asciugacapelli. Terrazzina con piscina privata vista savana semplicemente meravigliosa. Abbiamo visto direttamente dalla nostra terrazza elefanti, giraffe e zebre! Peccato averci soggiornato solo una notte.

Ho trascorso una notte, durante il safari di due giorni nello Tsavo Est, in questo campo tendato. Certo tenda si fa per dire visto che ha il pavimento rialzato in sasso ed ha una copertura in lamiera sul tetto. È decisamente grande con un letto matrimoniale ed uno singolo, provvisti di zanzariere, oltre al water ed alla doccia. Manca l'asciugacapelli. Bello il terrazzino affacciato sulla savana con piscina privata. Abbiamo visto degli elefanti e delle antilopi proprio davanti a noi. Il cibo era buono anche se poco vario. Da provare.
