Hotel la Locanda

Very good location for visiting the city, paid parking 20 meters away. Welcome and friendly staff. Comfortable bedding. Good breakfast. The only downside is poor soundproofing between the rooms, I heard the neighbor snoring all night…

Hotel located in the historic center and convenient for reaching the main monuments of the city. Unfortunately, during our stay we had a problem with the room due to the malfunction of a water pump, adjacent to our room, which did not allow us to rest. It was not possible to change rooms due to the hotel being fully booked, but the manager, apologizing for the inconvenience, offered us the stay the following morning with great professionalism. We hope they can resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Het was een ruime hotelkamer, heel schoon, goede bedden. Door Corona mochten we kiezen ontbijt op de kamer of beneden. Wij kozen voor op de kamer. Ze kwamen heel veel brengen en op de tijd die we wilde. Bij de receptie heeft Oxana ons veel goede tips gegeven. Echt goede service!

Fantastisches Hotel, fantastische Gastgeberin! Alles war sehr herzlich und nett. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr komfortabel. Frühstück sehr vielfältig und lecker. Würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Parkplätze gibt es mehrere in der nähe.

We have just returned from a holiday discovering Tuscany, we decided to base ourselves in Volterra, moving by car every day to cities of art and small villages. Our choice fell on the hotel la locanda for its location in the historic center so that we could have everything at hand at the end of the day. The choice has never been better, the success of our holiday can be attributed largely to the structure but above all to the staff made up of all professional, friendly, helpful women, always smiling and attentive to customer care. The structure is very nice, well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, functional and clean. Breakfast is a buffet, rich, good, varied and always replenished to be available to all customers. On my birthday, with great amazement, I found a tray in my room with two flutes and a bottle of chilled prosecco in the minibar, accompanied by a greeting card, an unexpected and very welcome gesture for me. If we were to return to Volterra, the Locanda hotel would certainly be our choice again. Congratulations and thanks for everything.

Wonderful! Clean, comfortable, there are rooms with large terraces (on the first floor there is a shared terrace for two rooms). Breakfast is simple, but you can order differently cooked eggs for an additional fee. The coffee, as everywhere else in Italy, is excellent. The location is very good. Not far from the city gates, etc. no problem with transfers. Shops, restaurants, attractions - everything is nearby. I will definitely return to this city, to this hotel and ask for room No. 106 😊. Not relevant to me, but the hotel accepts guests with pets. And a small misunderstanding - she asked for an iron. They brought it quickly. The only problem is that it was not possible to plug it into more than one socket (the plug and sockets are of different sizes 😂😂😂).

We had a reservation to spend a night here, from the moment we arrived the girl at the reception was friendly, kind and affectionate. The room located on the 1st floor, spacious, comfortable, beautiful and with everything you need such as toiletries, coffee maker and drinks (for a fee). Breakfast is small but there is a lot of variety, rich and for all tastes. Highly recommended hotel
