Money worthy and cozy apar**ent with all basic you need, plus free parking in 5 minutes walk. Certainly alright for budget traveller like us 😀😃.

prices from 3/4 star hotels and rooms in a dilapidated house for students with pocket money. We escaped despite paying for the night. The ban on car entry is inconvenient (luggage must be carried by hand for a good distance, if you are lucky to find a place in the paid car park)

This is hard one. Place, location, value for money - all is amazing. Until you go to sleep.
This is where it will depend on weather you prefer hard of ultra soft bed. Everything was just great until we got into bed. There was some filter/pipe smth making noise. i fixed that, i guess just pressure matter. But the bed... for us being able to sleep on hard beds only this was a

The structure, very well looked after and welcoming, is located near the Porta S. Francesco, convenient for parking just outside the walls and a short distance from the centre. It is a very suggestive room with soft lights that illuminate the steps leading to the tub - the bedroom equipped with a toilet and shower in a separate niche. The owner Annalisa is present without being physically present, always reachable with messages and generous with written instructions in posts and frames scattered around the apar**ent. The location is splendid, very convenient for visiting Volterra. After a day out and about, it is wonderful to relax with a nice sauna and a bath in the large tub, sipping the sparkling wine offered by Annalisa. The landlady is very kind and generous with advice and information.
